The Home Depot reviews
24Its home depot. They have everything and the staff was very helpful. And sometimes you will see dogs:)
My favorite part about coming here is always seeing the items I need out of stock. The exta kicker is the slow service.
Tool a while to be acknowledged by the Proshop guys. Stood in line for about 5 min while they chit-chated.
Come here a lot. They always have something for what I need. Most people are helpful, others not available, but nice when they are. Have gotten some solid advice regarding water heaters, irrigation, lumber and gardening equipment. Really like curbside pickup during the pandemic. Couldn't be easier.
I had to return a box of screws that I didn't need. The associate at the return counter was fast and efficient to give me my refund.
I was looking for a specific item and they were able to look it up for me and tell me exactly where to find it. That saved me a lot of time and frustration looking myself
They are in competition with Lowes for worst customer service and they are tied. They rarely have anyone who can help and when you get someone they don't know anything. I'm a frequent flier so it's not a one time thing that I couldn't get help.
As always when I go to Home Depot I am always greeted friendly with a smile and when I ask for help everyone is right on it and know exactly what they're doing super friend an extra thank you to Veronica at the front
I am still wondering why one of the clerks, a woman in her around 50s became rude and pushy with me at the self checkout service station. I had arrived to one of the self checkout stations and was about to scan my first item when this woman came to me, yelling very rude and demanding me to give up my place to one of her clients whom it seems like she was helping at that moment. It really made me feel uncomfortable, like I would not worth anything as a client, like I am just something that can be kicked out. Of course I stood up for my place and told that home depot worker "sorry, I got first" I even offer very politely the other client my place as I noticed that he was also feeling also shocked for this woman behavior, but this gentleman would not accept my offer for the obvious reason. I still don't understand why, I don't want to jump into conclusions, but I wonder how other clients that look like me may be treated by this home depot worker. All of us are the same and deserve the same courtesy, kindness and respect that this home depot worker was showing to the other client. This happened to me on Monday the 27th around 1 PM.
One of the employees whose name was Dave, worked in the flooring department. He was extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. He was also extremely helpful in the Major appliance Dept. Home depot's lucky to have him as an employee.
Perfect customer service, I returned a $20 item with no receipt, item marked to $0.01, I got upset but the employee named Fatima gave me discount on the new Item I bought to cover my lost. I gave them 5 star not because of the discount I received because I truly felt they are understanding and taking care of their customer.
5 star review especially for a worker in the appliances named Ann she was very helpful, friendly, and very funny. I went in with my mother to get a washer and dryer combo and she took the stress of which one to choose to a fun experience and I just want to say Thank You.
Great selection. I wish I could buy one of everything. Bathrooms and parking are disabled senior friendly.
Special thanks to Carter and Rocky for taking the time to unpack and help load the large wood chipper we purchased!
Home Depot was just fine as always, but I'm not sure I like my phone leaving a trail behind me everywhere I go.
20% less on credit returning a tool that i bought 2 days before and was in súper Bad condition out of the box
I made a call to this location twice to reserve an item for pick up and both calls were not good experiences.
The first lady gave me attitude when I was describing the title of the product I wanted to reserve, which was a 18-Volt Lithium Ion Cordless Drill/Driver and Impact Driver 2-Tool Combo Kit, as it reads on the websites page. Disclaimer; I don't know anything about tools and I was recommended this item from the Home Depot in Clairemont, which had very nice people.
When talking to this lady, she kept replying like this.well we got lots of different combo kits.well we got lots of drills.well we got lots of different brands. I assumed that if I just gave the product title, as it states on the website page, it'd be no problem searching it up. Then finally we were able to find the item with the SKU number and she said.really? We don't have those in the front, I have to find them ALLL the way in the back. You want these today?
Finally, after she found out that I wanted to pick up next day, there was a tone change and said, happily, that I needed to talk to a different department.
This woman was talking to me like I was being a problem for her day.
The second lady wasn't nearly as bad as the first, but it just seemed like she couldn't understand what I was saying and just rushed our conversation to get it over with.
I don't believe I was speaking with any attitude or in any way that was disrespectful, especially since I just had a great experience at the Clairemont Home Depot.
I'll probably avoid calling or visiting this store when possible after I pick up my items.
Aisles for Christmas decor are so small, two people have to squeeze past each other. Center aisles are crowded with sale stuff, but hard to get around.
Home Depot put in those self serve a cash register so you have to do all the work for them. Whatever happened to customer service?
I like Home Depot for their selection and prices. However, they seem to have less and less selection of hardware and other smaller items to build projects, which is disappointing. They used to have a large fastener selection and also door and lock hardware. Some items have to be ordered and shipped now, which is discouraging. The lumber has dropped in quality. I've been going to Home Depot for more than 30 years, so I know how it used to be there.
