The Home Depot reviews
17 I tried calling 10 times yesterday and 11 times today. No one answered. I went to the MDR store, today, to get info on commercial kitchen equipment. I was told to lookup on line, when I got home. No help
Very upsetting
Excellent, Awesome Courteous. David made key that worked. I had a terrible time on Slauson. You didn't have to call him.he was right at his work station. Told me to return and come straight to him
Reyna Sanchez was very helpful in solving our missing part problem. She was both professional & patient. I rarely write reviews but when someone is this good, its a must. Thank you Reyna!
I’ve been to many Home Depot’s in my time but this was by far the best experience of them all it was quick & easy, Nomar was very friendly and knew what he was talking about when it came to the Thin Sets and Flooring tiles. He got me in & out of the store with everything I needed. Will definitely be coming to this Home Depot again
Home Depot was as expected; really busy. Checking out was also dismal. It's not lack of employees that make checking out difficult, it's the amount of customers shopping. Store is too full.
It took the store three to four hours to prepare an order for curbside pick up so I went inside and got it myself. I had to travel 40 miles because my local HD didn't have the particular thing I needed.
Sadly they did not have the threaded rod I was looking for, but was able to hack together a solution. I miss the days of robust hardware departments.
Some guy was about to fight one of the workers for no good reason and that worker showed some real restraint, thats some patience worth recognizing
Nightmare service. Buying experience in the doors department was a headache - manager would not let me read the contract before demanding I sign. I told him this was ridiculous, to let me read it or we walk. Signed doors material & install agreement. Paid upfront. Doors had to be custom made which took about 3 months, but when they arrived at THD MDR, they were damaged. Waited another 2 months for the new doors to arrive. Install scheduled for today. The security door (that was already measured on-site by HD technician/subcontractor) WAS THE WRONG SIZE. This has been one of the worst buying experiences this far as we paid upfront, and now 2 preventable delays have occurred.
We’re now going on 6 months, out of pocket, with an incomplete French door project.
Also - PRO DESK - pick up the phone! You have my information. Call or email me back.
Would recommend shopping for custom doors/security doors elsewhere.
Horrible customer service.
EDIT: now 3 visits by the installer and today we learned the WRONG DOORS were ordered AGAIN! What is going on with the doors department? Home Depot Customer Care please call me back.
Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere for doors.
I just left Home Depot, Marina Del Rey store in CA where this wonderful customer service lady, 1st name Lisa, (she said she's the only one and everyone would know it's her I'm thankful to have met and have help me) who spent about 15 minutes helping me trace down a replacement ceiling fan blade arm for the one I have that's broken. She was so nice and super, SUPER helpful as I already spent a couple hours trying to do what she did. Thankfully I didn't have to replace the whole fan which I feared might be the case. Thanks Lisa.
A typical large home depot. My biggest complaint is that they are not good at keeping their inventory on the shelves stocked. Countless times I've visited with a particular need in mind only to find that the needed item, while labeled on the shelf, is out of stock, forcing me to have to visit the store on Slauson instead. The Slauson store is often much better stocked. Most recently it was spray paints and super glue that were out of stock in the Jefferson store but could be found in stock on the shelf in the Slauson store. This occurred on 4 different occasions so it wasn't just a fluke or coincidence either. Other than that Jefferson is a nice location convenient to customers on the far west side, especially near Playa del Rey, the Marina, and other neighborhoods in the far west side North of LAX.
Paint masters.i tried several local paint stores that didn’t have the paint i needed and did not bother to offer me any alternatives.paint guy at home depot found a paint almost identical to the shades i needed and they worked great!
Great Store if you know exactly what you need. The App shows you the aisle as well which is really nice - BUT if you need help and are not sure which part you need, you stand alone. Was waiting 30 minutes for someone to tell me that he has no clue: (Had this three times already.
Came in to shop with my uncle, we're followed around like shoplifters.very rude and obvious and for a customer who has shopped there for 20 years it was a very uncomfortable experience. Hire better lp and stop using your staff.
Paint section. 8 pm. 4 people waiting. It is not 8: 29PM still same 4 people waiting in the line. Only 1 person at the counter. When asked forna secind or how long more it will take, he just looked at my face and did nothing. Most likely he wants to go call it a day and go home. Either this guy is lacking basic intelligence to respond to a customer, or he is being given too many hours alone behind the counter. Either way it is pne star for ignoring your customers who spend thousands of dollars every year!
Getting better. Customer service at door is helpful in directing what aisle i need for what I'm looking for. No wait line. Wednesday afternoon.
I needed to know if they carried an item that I could not find and, I had just missed it but had to wait for them to reorder the item again.
