The Home Depot reviews
10Very frequent guest with lots of home projects. Our favorite employee is Bob. Bob always has a smile, is extremely helpful, and even helped us load something in the front of the building one day while he was still on his lunch just because he recognized us. Bob is the epitome of a customer service representative. Bob is so helpful and I seek him out for any help I need.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The lines moved along quickly at the checkout register.
The neighborhood place to go for just about anything you need. Always happy to go there help is easy to find if I need someone knowledgeable or just to assist.
Most of the time it is hard to find parts or things needed, It will be nice if the have or improve facilitate faster service.
Rented a Rug Doctor machine here. The associate behind the Customer Service counter was super kind and knowledgeable, highly recommend.
One of my top 5 home depots to shop, it's not very often you get good help but this store and it's associates do a very good job at taking care of them, the managers Kathy, Jared, Tammy, Able and Bill are very helpful and go the extra mile to make sure their pros are taken care of. A bit out of the way but worth the drive
Superb selection of flora, fauna, and soil.
Always has a choice of tomatoes, and the outdoor section is well put together.
This home depot is my favorite because of the choice of basic gardening seeds and produce,
Don't go to the Santee Home Depot if you can avoid it. Compared to the El Cajon Store or even the nearby Lowes this store is dirty and understaffed. This is not new because of recent shifts in workers demanding rights. It must be a top down management issue because this store has always made customers wait excessive amounts of time (10-20 minutes or more).
They have 3 to 4 employees working in the Self checkout but to get someone to retrive a product too high for me a 5'2" woman to reach, I had to wait for the man taking a custom blind order?
I had already been waiting 5 plus minutes unawknowled. I finally left, empty handed. And angry, disappointed in myself because I know this store is like this.its been like this for for over 37 years
.
We have bought euphorbia/pencil cactus/coral plants from Home Depot in the past. Well not under Edith's watch in the Garden Center - we were told to ask her for help by another associate and she decided to berate us for wanting the worst plant in the world and no they didn't have any because they are poisonous and dangerous.
First she could ask us where we had in mind for planting them (on a hill to prevent trespassers onto our property) and second, she could leave her opinion and bad attitude at home and not force it on customers WHO HAVE BOUGHT THESE PLANTS FROM YOU BEFORE!
Edith is doing a disservice to your store specifically and to the Home Depot brand more broadly. Please speak to her about her poor customer service so no one has to deal with that ever again. I've contacted Home Depot's corporate customer service about Edith as well.
