The Home Depot reviews
16 I purchased a charcoal grill online and set it up for curbside pickup. After arriving to the store customer service tried to release an old extremely rusted unit to me. It turned out all 5 of the units in stock were rusted out. The puller failed to check the very large item before taking it to custome service. I drove 20 miles to the store, waited 1hr to resolve issue and another 20miles home. Without a new grill.
Thank you. Ap ply Valley HD.
We went in today to exchange a broken Ryobi tool. Liz was rude and unhelpful. I believe Liz needs additional training in what it means to be a customer service representative (or maybe be placed somewhere other than customer service). With that being said, Ana and Kayla are professional representatives for this Home Depot. These two deserve a promotion and a raise. Thank you to both Ana and Kayla for ensuring that my husband and I will continue to be Home Depot regulars!
Moral of the story, it really comes down to the employee. If you're frustrated with the one "helping" you, just go find a different employee. Some of the employees will work towards customer satisfaction. While others can't be bothered.
Check for availability on the HD app & it even tells you what aisle the part is in. Drive to the store, NONE on the shelf. They do not care about the customer. Period.
I met Saimir last week and I was amazed at the customer service that he provided me. He not only was able to assist me in finding some items in his department, he actually walked me over to some other departments and assisted me there. Additionally, he's super knowledgable about many different topics and issues with home repair / clean-up.
Saimir is the reason I love shopping at Home Depot! You're blessed to have him representing you!

What can you say about Home Depot other than you run in get what you need and head on out every now and again you got to you can get a good deal but generally speaking it got what you need and it's for contractors you know and so you're you're able to usually get a good product and I'm happy that it's close by
Non-existant communication every step of the way - from customer to in between employees. Obviously, whoever supervises this store isn't performing their job.
I visited this store to quickly purchase a washing machine as mine had finally died according to the repairman. A friendly employee gladly sold me a washer with "only" two catches. I must buy hoses if i wanted free delivery, furthermore, it wouldn't be delivered for a week "because we're booked up". Fine, I'll buy the required but unneeded hoses and forcibly visit the local laundromat while I wait.
I heard nothing from Home Depot or the "third party delivery company" the day before delivery as promised, nor the delivery date. I decided to call to find out what happened but first put on hold for an inordinate amount of time - numerous times, only to be literally thrown into a "spin cycle" by numerous employees whom knew nothing about my delivery, although their notes stated a today delivery date. I eventually was told the washer was on back order & unavailable at this time. I'm questioning why the sales person wasn't aware of this issue. I was directed to call the delivery company, which I did with no luck - no answer after numerous tries. I suddenly recieve a text from the delivery company (Timco) stating my washer will be delivered in just over a month at three in the morning!
Okay, now I'm irate! After eventually contacting a manager (Mike) whom proceeded to list excuses, I stated to please not make me start cussing. I want this issue resolved today as promised. He directed me to another employee (Tiffany) whom seemed to be the only one willing and able to resolve the problem.
Finally! I'm relieved Tiffany found a washer and an employee to deliver it to my residence immediately!
I happily await my new washer.only to find upon arrival it's a gas dryer!
Delivery guy quickly returned with a washer but stated he wasn't allowed to hook it up "due to insurance issues". Really? !
I'm perplexed I was forced to buy hoses (originally), and assumed delivery included installation since I never was informed otherwise.
Thanks for the runaround Home Depot!
Girls at returns are rude, the guy helped me even though he was about to leave cause the girl was to lazy to help. Thank god for Kevin, he was a life saver. Great customer service and made the headache of returning a breeze. I really feel he should be the one in charge. Seems to be the only one that cares about delivering exceptional customers service with positive attitude!
Basically, if Home Depot doesn't have it, you don't need it. This place is always neat and clean with friendly and knowledgable folks to help you. Word of caution: If you are a VETERAN, you must download their app and register online to receive their generous 10-percent discount.
Great place for almost everything for the inside and outside of your home! The garden section is also very beautiful with lots of choices!
Went in for one item, asked for help locating what I needed. The employee was very friendly and professional. Would definitely go back to this location.
I was there for a garden set waited almost 15 minutes to get someone to help me asked the guy who helped me if I can pay and pick up the next day he said yes and he told me he will give me a $20 off because the box is damaged, so he asked me to go to the cashier service and then to the other cashier so I paid and everything the lady on the cashier asked me you are not getting your stuff so I told her what happened so they said no I can’t pick up the next day and they wanted me to return and repurchase again I told the Lady which was very rude and don’t feel like working to return and cancel the whole order and then she started acting nice and was like let me check for you and then she said okay never mind you can pick up tomorrow but I need to take the $20 off back because they don’t do discounts on damages what’s the point if you can’t do all that why would tell about discounts and pick up. (they wasted my time 35 minutes for redoing all that telling them I need to leave i got other things to take care of I don’t have all day to deal with rude customer service)
It’s always bad customer service whenever I go there and that was my last time
Managers need to start checking on there employees service
Came to home depot for memorial day weekend Sales. Staff was not friendly employees were standing around and didn't offer us help.
We are new to this Area and didn't know where things were no one was willing to help.
Finally, we got our items and went self check out and the military discount was not working properly on the self checkout kiosk
We asked the employee tending to the self out area if she could help and I had my military ID for the discount
She refused to help and said if it wasn't working on the kiosk than we needed to use the app but the reception in the store is horrible couldn't get the app to even load
We were refused the military discount and had to pay full price
Will not he returning to this hone depot ever again. Lowes better customer service and employees actually help all ypu have to do is cross the street
Horrible experience especially on Memorial Day weekend
Only because I am against self-checkout, which is the only option at this store much of the time. I don't mind doing the work of a cashier, I just expect to be compensated. Whatever the employee discount is would be fair.
Can never find anyone working there to help you. When you get lucky enough to get someone to help you, they act like you're bothering them and then they move slow. Probably going to Lowe's next time
Best in town! At least you can get a smile from them.no ugly faces and attitudes from like those others! BAHAHABAHA
Pulled into the trailer pick up, I bought a pallet of 6x8x16 concrete blocks. That is 226 dollars worth. They had no one to drive and load the pallet into my trailer. I don't mean hand stack. I mean, drive the fork lift. Got my money back, went to Lowes loaded me up fast, and price matched.
