The Home Depot, Van Nuys CA

None of the employees knew which isle contained items I was looking for. I found it on my way out.too many unexpeiranced youngsters inside, and shiesty characters outside. Sorry Home Depot, Harbor freight is my new #1.

Awfull, I waited half an hour to purchase an expensive tool, no one knows or has any knowledge in that department.

Not enough help when responding to thing's needed at times! Some employees speaks to customers like they are dumbfounded! That's not good for the business.not for a big company like Home Depot.

I visit the one on Pro Desk. I love this place as they have all necessary things needed for my planting hobby.
Occasionally they also host the kids carpentry and joinery events on Saturdays which my son loves it! !

The the staff were very helpful in showing me wood stains and which type of brushes should be used with which type of product.

If you know what your looking for and how to do it they are fine. What happened to the days when retired trades workers worked at Home Depot? Now it’s a bunch of kids that have never worked before, so if you need some help, or have questions forget it. Not to mention the employees are never anywhere to be found when you need them.

Very helpful store employee in the cement area helped show me what I needed. Also, had a return today and the return gentleman was nice and quick.

4 stars because its a hardware store. Has all the same stuff any other megamart hardware store has so its not special. Helpfull employes though.

Great store, there isn't hardly anything you can't find there. Great selection, good prices, fast checkout & easy to return items!

Asked an employee for assistance, he said it was not his department. We improvised using a long pipe to get the part from the upper shelf.

Really easy shopping experience asked a cashier (Nataly) for assistance locating an air conditioner we had researched online and Thanks to her didnt need to wonder needlessly thru the store! Not only that but she also indicated to us how many were left in store! Great service!

Home depot is too big for a few things and what you see on their website don't mean it will be there.even the workers don't know where everything is. I'll stick to target or Wal-Mart

I hate this place. Never any help. When I finally found someone, they directed me to the wrong place where I was directed back to where I started. Got the item at Lowe's.

The young lady @ the customer service area was helpful & polite. Using the self check was a prompt way to pay

Way to busy to help anyone.

If you like being ignored, then you found the perfect store.

I have waited almost an hour for the forklift to come get what I need.

I recommend going anywhere else if you need to be in a hurry.

The worst customer service employers of almost any Home Depot I go too.

If you know what you want and you don't mind the lines, then this is your place.

I have been coming here for 20 years and I think I am finally done with this store.

Beast of luck if you come here and need help. If you need something from a forklift. Just know I feel your pain and I am sorry they are wasting your time.

Update. After waiting for almost another 20 minutes to speak with the store manager. The assistant manager David M. Was nice enough. He refunded one hundred and fifty dollars of the almost two thousand I spent on flooring.

He said he would help fill Future orders and that is nice of him. It's just hard to work that way if you need to see the flooring options first.

I will try calling first, but for the most part I will avoid this store.

I was looking for hardware in the fasteners dept.and one of the employees told one of the other employees to "make sure i paid for the hardware", but no employee ever asked if i needed help finding something. Im glad they didnt because they dont know anything anyways. I never found exactly what i was looking for. Good job home depot, im glad your priorities arre in order making sure i didn't steal a dollar worth of hardware.

I went in to purchase a lightbulb and heat lamp. Everything was available and relatively easy to find. I am satisfied.

This place is always busy. Sometimes you have to wait a while to check out, but that's fine. It's pretty filthy, I mean dust and stuff everywhere - and if you can't handle it, why in earth did you go to a hardware store? Always able to find what I need here.

They have a nice selection of bath and kitchen fixtures and general home decor. Thanks for the service

The customer service was the worst I ever encountered. Not only did Home Depot Chat person lie to me but 3 different associates in this store lied to me and one manager. I would never recommend this store to anyone. Good luck to anyone who uses this store and wants to feel like Home Depot cares about you as a customer because that will be a big NO.
