The Hub reviews
8I love their food they have great hamburgers and chicken sandwiches. The atmosphere is great and the owner is amazing
The Hub is a wonderful spot. It gave me the feel of that old TV show Cheers, however instead of beer being the focus it was food. Good food if I may say:) I had the Chicken and beef sliders. The beef was my favorite.
Been to The Hub before.it's usually decent.last night I ordered $40 worth of burgers to go.mind you that's three burgers plus tax and tip.when I got theme home we saw that they were absolutely raw inside. I called to let the restaurant know and to give them an opportunity to remedy the situation. The young employee who answered the phone said he'd call me back if there was anything he could do. There was no call back. If you go there, make sure your meat is actually cooked so you don't get sick.
We were 5 stores away not bothering anyone and a worker from here came all the way to the bench we were sitting on and started yelling at us not to smoke. We are adults. We weren’t even near this place. He also threatened to call the police after we put it out. Horrible workers.
I appreciate that they have one veggie burger on the menu, however it has been different every time I have ordered it. To be simple and easy on the restaurant, I just order the one veg burger on their menu, which is supposed to come with specific toppings. They have been different every time, which concerns me because I don't want to inadvertently get something that is not vegan. Also, my partner, who is not veg, has gotten burgers with NO meat, chicken, or protein in it. They just gave him lettuce and tomatoes, even though he paid for and has a receipt for a chicken burger. Their fries are really good, IF they are hot and fresh. Otherwise, they are a clump of goo. It might be better to go there in person, but over the dozen times we have ordered from there during the pandemic, our order was correct maybe twice, so something is up. It's also pricy! $$$$ 40 for two burgers, no fries, no drinks. Just to be clear, we order directly from the restaurant and drive there to pick it up. Our latest order was today and there was no chicken on the burger!
It's unfortunate because it seems like a good place to eat according to the reviews, but my very first encounter with, I'm going to assume an owner or management at the least, was that I would have to be helped outdoors at a window. It's quite curious because there's people eating inside but apparently there is no indoor eating. I'm just not into fast food joints of people who don't greet customers properly or even have a polite mannerism to accommodate their customers.although I can guarantee I won't be one of them. After the dirty looks given, I walked away to find a business that doesn't look at a person and decide who is allowed in and who is served outdoors.
It's an okay place to have a burger. Mine came with spicy cheese that was almost too much to taste the meat. I would only recommend it if you liked really spicy. One can sit outside and after ordering from a window someone will bring out your food. They also have some craft beers that are not bad
