This place is like a vintage wine that has been around a long time but has aged quite nicely. Check out this place and enjoy the views.

Great views of the ocean. Rooms are decent. Nice little bar on roof with free wine at 5 pm

It's hard to imagine a better location ANYWHERE - not just in Laguna. Park your car here and walk to everything. Breathtaking, million-dollar views from all over the property. Super friendly staff and the fresh cookies & binoculars were a nice touch. The building's various levels and stairs were easy to navigate after a few minutes. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The only possible complaints were that our A/C unit was fairly loud and the shower head was too low to comfortably wash my head at 6+ feet - BUT any reasonable person would easily overlook these things in the name of enjoying the incredible overall experience here. Casa Loma is worth a stay at any cost.

We had the room where a lot of pedestrians were circulating and parking not included without notice

Room and view were wonderful BUT other then the front desk there was no service. The smell of pot being used was rampant, how whoever in charge did not notice is odd. There is a ice machine but no food of any kind and a rooftop "bar" with a view is wasted but wine in cheap plastic cups. The pool is nice but the cushions are old and dirty. For the price it needs help

The Location is the best. The room was on the last floor, we could hear the surf. Spectacular views, ambiance, comfortable. Make note that parking is not included, and after that it will be charged around $44 per 24h. The standard room is small, not so much space. But it’s almost on the first coast line, extraordinary close to the ocean and the center of Laguna Beach downtown.

Perfectly located for touristing in Laguna beach, it couldn't be any closer to the ocean and sand and easy walking to plenty of shopping, which my wife is doing as I type this. Amazing ocean view from our 5th floor balcony and I think any of the ocean facing rooms would be similarly grand. The room was tastefully decorated and clean. The room was adequate in size and the bed was comfortable. The AC worked well, almost too well, the air rushed out vent so much that it could be slightly too loud to light sleepers.but didnt bother us. The only noises we really heard were coming from the lovely ocean waves.very lovely place. No restaurant, but nextdoor is the waterfront Las Brisas Restaurant where we enjoyed a 5-star breakfast (see pics), which was so amazing we ate there each morning. Front desk staff were kind and helpful to make our stay fun. This is not a Ritz Carlton, but it's a top-notch boutique Inn for its category.

Get the ocean view room. You will feel like you are sitting in the middle of the ocean. Open the window in the middle of the night to hear the waves crashing against the sand and rock. Take a stroll on the beach at night. You will feel like you are on an island.for cleanliness.for friendly staff.for ambiance.for romantic.for free wine reception and cookies.

If you're wanting to stay in the heart of Laguna Beach, this is a great location on the beach. As far as "Value" goes, it is nowhere near the money they charge per night. We spent over $800 per night for a room that looked out to the Parking Lot and Main Street. It was incredibly loud too. Additionally, there is no restaurant and they provided a "make-shift" bar on the 4th floor patio area, however there was a wedding on Saturday, so we did not have access to the bar in the evening. Nice people, just not worth the dollars, in my opinion.

The room was well-cleaned, and the bed was comfortable. For the price, this was precisely what I was looking for. Other than the coffee machine not working in the room, it was a perfect stay. The proximity to the ocean is not exaggerated on their website-the view from the 4th floor terrace is stunning.

Paradise in Laguna Beach, perfect for staycation, this is in the best spot of everything, the beach is just down the stairs, the view is heaven.

Most rooms face the ocean, but some of the cheaper rooms either face the parking lot or the street (PCH). Rooms are smaller than expected, but somewhat well maintained (AC was a bit noisy and rattled when the upstairs person's AC engaged). Water pressure was excellent in the sink and adequate in the showers. The closest hotel to the main Laguna Beach area.literally steps from it and the hotel is very nice to have free loaner beach chairs and umbrellas right at the lobby. Wifi didn't work for us for some reason, didn't bother using it. We did use this hotel for a conference including the rooftop catered restaurant and meeting room (very long, seats about 50 people or so, AC was great). Overall, if being close to the beach is the top priority, this is a great spot to book.

Location, location, location. Got a last minute deal here through Hotel Tonight after leaving another hotel we had a bad experience with. Front desk was friendly and helpful. It's definitely not fancy by any means (and I'm pretty sure we got their worst room) but it is clean and quiet and good enough for a nice relaxing stay. Pool is small but not crowded and you can hear the waves crashing. You absolutely can't beat the location. I will say it's overpriced for what it is.we would not have stayed here if it wasn't for the deal we got.but it seems everything these days is overpriced. Only a bummer because it could really be a fantastic hotel if they would just make some relatively minor tweaks.like change out (or rip out) the carpet, or renovate just the showers in the rooms, or have a water station at the pool (a bathroom would be nice too). We visited the rooftop bar when it was open in the middle of the day.not a soul there, the bartender looked bored out of his mind. We went back after dinner when it was closed and others also kept coming to check it out and hang out up there. They could make so much more money and have a great spot for guests to hang out after dinner if they would open at night instead of the middle of the day. Overall, would stay again for the right price.

Was a bit disappointed with the overall experience. There were a lot of hidden fees in the price of the room from my online booking to the actual cost of the room. The front desk person told me they were going to “set me up” with a room. That didn’t happen. Had a tiny room with a view of pacific highway and part of the roof. Thanks for nothing. The hotel in general is in need of a major overhaul. Would recommend anyone visiting Laguna Beach should find a better option. All that being said the location is spectacular.

Overall good hotel, but it could be a bit more hospitable in terms of the staff. We travel extensively, and it's not the most friendly place we've been. Could it be a lot worse, yes, but could it be bette, r yes.

I will never stay here again. Every night I was awoken by very loud noises/voices/animals from the public walkway that sits in front of the hotel! This also makes for no privacy as the passing public can see into your room. I wanted an oceanfront room to be able to leave my window/sliders open to smell & hear the ocean. I was unable to do this because of the nearby public access. Horrible!

The hotel rooms are very small and I would have felt cramped with just my husband who I love and adore but thankfully I was on my own this week.

The WiFi is very weak and unstable constantly disconnecting which creates a problem when you want to stream a TV show or movie.

Forget about the rooftop terrace as an incentive as it is hardly available and only offers drinks, no food. Plus the hotel building obstructs the sunset view: (It’s not a good place to hang out and very little people do.

The hotel touts itself as oceanfront but that’s not true… it has an oven view but you still have to walk quite a ways down the hill to actually set foot on the beach. That was a big faux pas for me! As I paid a premium to be on the beach.

Great ocean front hotel at Main beach. Waited 2 + hours to check in (check in is 4pm). A very average hotel but customer service is tops. Can be very expensive at times rivaling other 5 stars in the area. This is NOT a 5 star hotel, more like 2.5. It is within walking distance to most things, but IS in a hilly area with many stairs in places.

We recently stayed four nights at the Inn. The location is fabulous, right on the beach. However, everything else about our stay was most disappointing. Our "Village View" room faced the street and parking; the AC unit was extremely noisy and woke us every night; the bathroom was old and rusty; shower valve was almost falling off the wall; there was mildew on the window frame; the wireless was non-existent in our room; there was no "honor snack bar" as their website advertises; the room was not cleaned one day, with no explanation. And for all of this, we were charged almost $700/day with our Friday night stay totaling over $900! All of this was for a room with NO VIEW OF THE OCEAN. Their ocean views cost hundreds more. Parking $45/day and I have no idea what their $35 "Amenity Fee" covered. Don't waste your money here! Such a disappointment.
