The K Market / MEGA MART reviews
15 Very clean, I really enjoy Asian foods and it looks like the variety is FANTASTIC. If I had the money, I could live in this market and shop everyday practically all day
The staff and cashiers are very helpful and friendly.
The organization of the whole market is impressive
Unfortunately I live behind K Market and they are a horrible neighbor. They have cheap carts that I hear rattle and clank constantly during their business hours. I don't have any peace and quiet in my backyard or home. I wish they would get quieter carts or go out of business.
Surprisingly fresh vegetables! They also sell freshly made tofu by a local vendor and local kimchi as well. However my favorite items have to be their fruit tarts and cream breads! They always sell out early so definitely don't come too late if you're stopping by on a weekend. EDIT - every time I come here the staff and cashiers are just so friendly. I've never felt more positive energy radiating from grocery store employees than I have from people here. It really makes my day every time I visit <3
Great deli selections a good alternative to Hankook a few blocks south on El Camino. The more the merrier! I like their deli Korean fried chicken. They serve a full array of deli quick eats.
My thought was it looks like the whole foods setup. It is very clean and well lightened. The food is good and reasonably priced. I do like the bento boxes. The kimchi fried rice is good. The bakery section has lots of interesting cakes.
This food Cort has many kinds of snacks, sidedishes, and baked goods. They are cheap. The market also has good deals. Especially Korean melons are cheaper and fresher than other markets. The restrooms are biggest and cleanest in the Northern California Asian grocery market.
Shop once every two weeks, nice and clean, bakery and deli has some great deals
Red bean and cream bun $2 is a must-try
This supermarket opened the store May 2020. Everything is well organized and cleanly packed. It appears that they package smaller quantities of vegetables or other food in each pack, compared to the ones I saw in other Korean supermarkets.
Produce pricing is great. Lots of Asian goodies, albeit Korean-catered. Great prepared food section. After 7pm they have half off store made goods!
Love it! Clean and well stocked. No jewelry store of facials here. Just good fresh produce, and everything you would expect in a grocery store.
Oh, I like this place the most among Korean supermarkets. The range of products for sale is wide. And it's well organized. Even the toilet is very clean.
The cashier was very rude.
My little son bought an ice cream and when he opened it there, it was half empty from inside and an icy water stick on the side of it.
As it looks old and rotten one.
I asked the cashier right after he opened it that it looks weird and I want to return it back, she said no in a tuff way and point with her finger to me to leave.
My two little kids felt shy and scared at the same time as she ignoring me, and being tuff infrot of other people.
By the way it was the first time for me at that market and it will be the last after that bad experience
This place is like the Whole Foods of Asian markets. This is like visiting Disneyland and then going to Legoland and comparing the two. If you go to Ranch 99 everything is in a disarray and doesn’t feel nearly as clean and nice as the K market.
I would definitely come here more if it weren’t so far away and ranch 99 being so close to my house.
Overall, they seem to have great produce and you can get some seafood here that you cannot in more 'ameeocan' stores. Staff could be more helpful, they seem to be focused on replenishing shelves only.
