The Kitchen reviews
26I FEEL LIKE IM IN NORTH KOREA? Tables are really close together. The menu looks like it survived a flood. The waiters act like we are not even here. We were in the middle of ordering and our waiter just walked away without saying a word! The food is pretty tasty
If you let them see you have cash, they will ask you to pay cash - in full amount / no discount.

Relatively cheap given the size of dishes. Taste more like traditional Cantonese dishes. I think it is the best Cantonese restaurant in Bay Area.
Decent dim sum. Stand out was the pineapple pork bun. Very tasty. The restaurant was clean and service very attentive. Prices were on medium high side, but about right for this of establishment. I recommend it for casual dim sum. I haven't tried their dinner menu yet.
Food was bland, service was below expectations. Ask server to use a scissor to cut some buns in half, she told me to just use my hand to pull it apart. I know help is difficult to find these days, but it was like tough luck. Guess I will try somewhere different for Dim Sum for now. Perhaps they just had a bad day, since I have been here before with no issues. Just disappointed ️
Most Horrible Experience of my Life so far; these guys have to be reported and banned from doing restaurant business. Went with my family of 4 and they seated us with hot tea. Ordered in 5 mins; there were several tables who came in and ordered after us and we are the odd people there and left us stranded with hunger for about an hour and finally we couldn't handle the disgusting service and came out of the restaurant. I can use so many bad words about these fellows but Yelp wouldn't allow that. Well the sad part is, even after reading this review there will still be people going to the restaurant and this atrocious place will still be in business and that's the society we live in.
Average ambience and overpriced dim sum. For better ambiance prefer Tai Wu and AMilbra
e Flower Lounge if u don’t mind the wait. They said they don’t make my favorite HK Pan Fried noodles although ALL Cantonese restaurants do.obvious they wanted me to order pricier dim sum. Ended up going to Cheung hing for HK noodles next door. Dim sum ok! Overpriced for average ambience
There are few dishes I always order that are super tasty, come here for many years now, but expect long wait around dinner time
The portion is tiny. I'd like to help out local restaurant but when I go ordered a lobster which was quoted 1.5lb when it's between 1 and 1.25lbs.
Decent place for dim sum! Can get crowded on the weekends so go early to beat the rush.probably not as bad as taiwu across the street though.
Last night was our first time we went to this magnificent restaurant. But It is definitely not the last time. We had great time with the good service, with the fine meal and fine drinks and with the honest cost. We will surely come back again.
Im Chinese and heard good things about this place, so I gave it a try. The food was way over priced and the noodles were try and hard. The waiters and waitresses were kind of rude. Would not eat here again.
No services, said they were not available. Have to wait about 10 minutes for the next order if food to come, but still ask for more tips.
Horrible service.they had none of the barbecue dishes that i wanted like bbq pork, duck or chicken. I had to settle for a noodle with mushroom dish which was ok only because i was starving and hot and sour soup which can be eaten at any ol Chinese restaurant. I was not impressed at all and the prices are ridiculously high! They claim because the dishes are big but cmon. 15 bucks for hot n sour soup?
Decent Chinese food at a decent price. Lines can get pretty long during busy times (weekends for dim sum, dinner time on weekdays and weekends)
Great food and amazing service. I will surely recommend this place to my friends and associates.
Good Cantonese-style cuisine. This restaurant is under the same operator as Asian Pearl in San Bruno, so very similar menu options.
Food is good, parking is a different story. Although there's a parking lot next door, parking is extremely challenging even on a weekday.
The restaurant itself is nice and clean. Waiter of course will try to steer you to all their premium specials but we chose their comfort food. Good thing about this place is it's not overly salty but the food will get cold quickly as they have their A/C full blast.
Bad service. The servers were rude. Especially the manager. I won’t even recommend this place to my friends. After we pay for our bill, the waiter said the tips that we were about to give them are not enough. What kind a of atittude was that. To the owner, you better put a qualified and good manager in your place. He really had a bad customer service.
Some of the very est Chinese food I've ever had in my life. Be prepared for authentic fair. If you're looking for Americanized look elsewhere like Panda Express. This food is the real deal.
