Daniel was very helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and professional, showing us 3 units and answering all the questions we had. We've visited some 10 other apartments and he was by far the best leasing agent we interacted, and definitely a factor why we chose to rent in The Landing. He also helped us throughout the whole application process, as we were having some technical difficulties. We were able to apply and get approved very quickly with his help. If you are thinking on renting in The Landing, do look for Daniel as he will make your tour an amazing experience!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Daniel from the leasing office while searching for my new apartment, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, Daniel displayed a high level of professionalism and an unwavering commitment to meeting my needs.

His knowledge of the property and the surrounding area was impressive and immensely helpful in making my decision. He was patient, answering all my questions thoroughly and ensuring I had all the information I needed. What stood out most, however, was Daniel’s genuine care and enthusiasm. It felt like he was just as excited about finding my perfect apartment as I was.

The entire process, from the initial viewing to signing the lease, was seamless and stress-free, thanks to Daniel’s organization and attention to detail. His friendly demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond made me feel valued and confident in my choice of apartment.

It is truly unbelievable how below any sort of quality standard this apartment is. From our move-in experience - in which the company spent over a month unable to figure out a technical glitch in order to get the lease signed (and then tried to charge us for their error until we pushed back) - to the actual living experience (in the first TWO months we have experienced a leak in the ceiling through the fire extinguisher, our fridge spontaneously going out, the cupboards breaking- not to mention months in between of waiting for maintenance - by NO fault of the maintenance staff, they are way understaffed) and general rudeness and incompetence from the managerial staff here. I lived in a different high rise for 5 years, and have never experienced any one of these issues in isolation, let alone all together in only 2 months. The only bright spots here are Tameka and the handymen staff. This place is a disaster.

I just put in an application after meeting with Tameka who showed me several available units and answered all my questions. I saw about a dozen nearby apartments, but meeting with Tameka really sealed the deal for me on The Landing, she was so patient with all of my questions and I was surprised at just how nice all of the amenities are, from the garage (no annoying car stacker!) to the giant rooftop (with ping pong and bocce court!) to the package concierge (hopefully no missing packages!). Thank you Tameka!

We have enjoyed living at The Landing for years. We especially like Erica Harris and William who always go the extra mile for residents. Thanks to your team!

William is a superstar. Don't get me wrong, the Landing is a beautiful apartment complex, super calm, with awesome amenities. But, what makes it such a great place to live at is William's above and beyond support. He is always so helpful and kind. Thanks for making our experience so great William!

So, William at the front is fantastic. So are the building amenities! That's about where the fun ends.

The units themselves are not nearly as nice as the shared area, and most get little to no natural light. Your view will likely be a concrete wall, and by the way, people will occasionally throw knives over that wall that land right where you walk out. Fun! The building will assure you that everything is safe and that's just "the neighborhood we live in"; that gets hard to stomach when the acrid smell of someone over the wall lighting up floats into your bedroom a few times a month.

The leasing office staff are genuinely nice people who are either severely understaffed or just don't care about their jobs. As other reviews mention, emails and requests will be ignored for indeterminate amounts of time as soon as you sign your lease. Complaints will be hand-waved away. Mysterious fees will accumulate month over month, and then you'll get charged late fees on those because the autopay stopped working. Don't forget to wait 4 weeks to have that rectified!

Elevators and doors are down constantly. There's wifi in the lobby but it doesn't connect half the time. The resident experience and maintenance staff are INCREDIBLE, but constantly handicapped by the fear that management will get upset with them solving a problem. They're also severely understaffed at times, with messages disappearing into black holes often.

As you can see, there's a pretty significant feeling of bait-and-switch after you move in. It's been interesting seeing other buildings where the residents are besties with the management staff; in The Landing, most people I know are at this point just frustrated and resigned.

I'm conclusion, I'd only recommend living here if you're getting a spectacular deal. These days, for the price and given the rough part of Potrero we're in, you can probably do better. I'm looking forward to fighting for my security deposit back in the coming weeks.

Although we didn't end up renting here. I would love to give a shoutout to Tameka. She showed us around the apartment, and her enthusiasm and friendliness made the whole tour feel like a breeze. She also took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for. What I appreciated most was how organized and efficient she was – no time wasted, and all our questions were answered unfiltered. Plus, they went above and beyond by following up afterward, ensuring we had all the info we needed. If you're apartment hunting, definitely hit upTameka – she made the process easy and enjoyable!

**the worst property management ever**
I went with my husband with high hopes to tour a unit only to find Tameka to be the rudest lady I’ve ever met! She was very unprofessional & acted like she didn’t even want to be there or to help me as she was focused more on her phone than me. Every time I asked a question she rolled her eyes & ignored me many times! Tameka also promised 10 weeks off with parking included ; only to find out these were lies! She’s not truthful and i felt very deceived. Tameka made my experience HORRIBLE! DONT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!

I stayed at the short term rentals at the landing and absolutely recommend it! It's such a beautiful building in a really good neighbourhood close to transportation for commuters! Also, William at the front was so helpful throughout my stay and was so accommodating! Really made my San Fran trip memorable!

We love the neighborhood, a lot of cute coffee shops, restaurants and bars that are walking distance. The apartment itself is nice, we enjoy the newer appliances. In addition to the amenities there are several community events, group fitness classes, and yoga on the rooftop. The standout is truly the staff. Maintenance is quick to respond and always friendly. William is very attentive and detail oriented. He throws amazing community events and is always extremely helpful, professional and friendly - his hard work doesn’t go unnoticed by our Landing community!

Stephanie was professional and welcoming! The tour she took me on was informative and gave me a great idea of complex. The facilitates are clean and well maintained! A quiet yet bustling apartment, certainly no ghost town. Based on the tour I received I would absolutely consider living here. A great first impression!

Hoping to help others looking here. Thinking I have some prospective after being here for almost 3 years. I truly believe it is the way property was built, there are only so many things a management company can do. The turnover of staff makes it difficult to really connect with anyone.

Two stars are for the staff and maintenance folks that def are dedicated here. Most have left unfortunately. Otherwise, I would probably leave a 1 star. Taylor, Marie Will Jeff Angel Jose and Maria are folks that get the stars.

I have lived here for almost three years. Meaning. I was one of the OG when they first started leasing. I moved in the pandemic period. I wanted a peaceful, beautiful place and area to be outside. That it was. Loved. It was a community. Notice, past tense.

Now - It is back to normal in SF… I would say the following:

- Competitive pricing for location and spaces (stop expecting the world in this area knowing you are by the P Hill projects)
-If you like to cook.forget about it. Kitchens are not cooking friendly
-Air flow is horrible. I stopped complaining.it just is.
- Freezing in winter and hot as hell iin summer. NO a/c not heating that is sufficient.you will need fans and space heaters plus air filters
-Location is critical here. Above 5th floor facing bay. Yes. Facing towards projects.no nor lower floors.there are two buildings here. I would never choose to live in front.back bldg facing bay. Yes!
-Amenities.meh.lack of management here. You will face angry tenants and to that extent - won’t want to use amenities. I think this happens in any location though, but I moved here when tenants were nice, and I have friends from living here. All of the people I knew have moved out because of well pricing to what you get
-Dog scenario here. Again lack of management. There are dog breeds that they state aren't allowed. Yet these breeds have been here for my three years. Prepare to run away sometimes. I have! Including this past week recently. I stopped complaining because it went nowhere.
- Trash and smell is horrific most of the time
- the parking garage door was not working for months.and due to significant move outs, there will be a moving truck blocking one area almost weekly (thankfully, I do not park in garage at $400+ a month)
- You will pay for others trash dumping and shared community costs.at least $200/month or more
- They charge $20 per month per apt for package delivery.you wont get it about 50% of time. I started sending packages to Whole Foods Amazon pickup for items I really needed.
-Mgmt response is minimal. Expect to manage everything yourself. Which means if u have an issue with kids or dogs…. Prepare to call SFPD, which basically is not responsive
-Do not expect deliveries for food via Amazon, Uber Eats, Doordash nor packages to ever go to your door - no one can figure out latch digital codes.
-As mentioned above.digital key and lack of management - zero help with getting items delivered.prepare to walk groceries. Prepare to walk ur food / packages a whole city block or more from the lobby to your apartment. This isn't doable for many. Honestly, I am athletic - yet many times, I struggle to routinely deal with the fact I have to walk groceries, deliveries from street, garage, lobby to my apartment.

After mediocre stuff. The most amazing part of this building.sound proof. Start loving zero noise and if you live facing mission bay. Yes and Yes! Why I have stayed here - albeit amt of negative items.

I saw other reviews. I have to disagree on some. I love maintenance people here - - each maintenance team has been responsive.in less than 24 hours or within 24 hours. Each time they have fixed everything for me. I have lived in horrible apts and in NYC plus another large city. I know what it is like to have zero response. This place has a wonderful maintenance staff.

I think you choose this place because of the location, competitive pricing and you deal with some of nuisances for location.

I lived at the Landing when I moved to SF. It made me feel very safe and comfortable. Lots of nearby places to eat, shop, and a great view to downtown.
Most of the staff was amazing, and their ambassadors are there to help you. Guillermo was always very helpful, he’s talented at putting nice events together.
As a new building there is no rent control, and the price hike from one year lease to the other can be pretty steep and that means lots of moving in/out as a lot of ppl only stay for one year, I wish they could try to figure something for that.

No doubt the only reason I signed with The Landing is because of Tameka. I only signed up for a tour out of curiosity, but she exemplified such a high quality level of service, professionalism, and personality that no other apartment tour could compare. And it doesn't stop there. After the tour, she fought to extend a promotional offer for me and ensure my move-in and everything beyond has been comfortable. This is the type of accomodation you get at The Landing!

I love this space and all the amazing staff! I met William at one of the events and he was so genuine and kind! I truly enjoyed the event and he later showed me all the fancy amenities and services the building offers. He was very knowledgeable and made me feel very welcomed! I highly recommend staying at The Landing! Definitely a big highlight of my stay in the city!

The two young ladies in the office are beyond helpful. They are super nice and always without hesitation ready to help out with any questions or concerns that I have. Very friendly. The landing is in an amazing growing neighborhood as well. 10/10 highly recommended for anyone looking to move to the dog patch.

What a great tour! Stephanie showed us all the possible floor plans that fit our needs and desires. Very pet friendly with great facilities and many amenities. Ideally located for Caltrain but still a quiet neighborhood. We are looking forward to finding a new home here when our current lease is up.

The check they sent for returning my deposit was clawbacked and taken out from my checking account without notice. There were also several instances of mismanagement from their accounting team that charged me violation fees when there was no violation.
