The Last Bookstore reviews
14I came for a trip to California, and with my love for books, I asked my friend to take me to a bookstore in LA. I definitely came to the perfect place and did not expect this at all! I fell in love instantly walking in. A labyrinth of books and art! My two favorite things. The most amazing bookstore I've ever explored.
Wonderful collection of titles from rare first additions to second hand pulp fiction all arranged in artistic reels of books. Highly recommended for both adults and children - who are encouraged to hunt out the toy tiger for a prize
Found an excellent buy today only thing was the atmosphere was very dark. DTLA weather was very over cast today so maybe that's why the lights in the store was so bad.
Very popular bookstore.
The oasis this crazy city needs, maybe even deserves. In here, you could judge these books by their cover, much like the vanity perpetuated by the city or get lost in the stories they tell, like the dreams it fosters.
Great bookstore! Perfect place to chill and learn for a couple hours. The vibe here is fantastic, perfect for readers! Plus it’s a fascinating place!
The decor is totally cool. All the different areas make it fun to look around. The bookshelves seemed a little sparse, but that could be due to covid.
Favorite place to visit, a must see blast from the past to fantastic mind blowing artists at work! If slow and relaxing is your pace then this too is where you should be. Don't miss this stop they even have a safe place to keep your bags while you go off to your adventure and take home a souvenir!
Absolutely insane. Everytime I thought I was at the end of the store, there was a new nook I hadn't discovered. Such a cozy vibe. Any booklover visiting LA has to make a trip here
Awesome book store built into an old bank, complete with vaults. Great customer service and a great selection of older and newer books.
Got four books for four bucks! Lots of variety in the genres and for reasonable prices. If you visit, I recommend bringing your own bags to carry your books if you're planning on buying mutiple-the bags they give don't have handles. Also keep in mind that they store your backpacks at the front to prevent theft! Small handbags are usually okay, though.
Such an awesome place to go.enjoy wonderful and relaxing music.once you're inside your transformed to a different era in time.will be returning. And found 4 awesome books, a record (yup a record) and 3 cool pens.
Super cool experience! I went to LA with some friends and on a whim stopped in. Definitely worth the time. The artists downstairs are talented, the books are vast, and the upstairs is a playground for bibliophiles. I think this is a great place to visit for anyone of all ages who love books!
Beautiful bookstore with tons to sections to explore. Surprisingly gorgeous installation art seems to be hidden around every corner.
First time visiting here, was amazed by the array of books (and vinyls)! Overall the vibe was great, definitely recommend checking out
