The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens reviews
16The new exhibit with the giraffe is excellent and there is lots of shade around. It is a pretty big zoo.
Our friend surprised us with a night visit and we had a great time seeing the holiday lights and the animals. I'd certainly come back during the daytime. The carousel is beautiful.
Great zoo with amazing wild life and plants! Definitely worth a trip if you are in the area. I loved the desert plants as much as all the incredible animals. They also have a new rhino exhibitions!
We are so happy there's a beautiful and education place like this in the desert. Thank you!
Definitely a must do for anyone who comes to Palm Springs. We throughly enjoyed our experience here at the Living Desert Zoo.
Don't walk, you should run to see this exhibit!
If you haven't been to the Living Desert in a couple of years, I highly recommend it. They have some great exhibits.
Went for the lights. Didn't realize how bad parking would be! Once we got in, the kids loved it. Nice, walkable lights. Lots of animals were out and about too.
Wonderful experience. It had been nearly 20 years since my last visit. Wow! Have they grown. I recommend everyone give this zoo a visit.
We love this place. It is amazing anytime of year. Went for the Xmas light show again, and the family loved it.
Visted the Desert Lights at 730pm on a Saturday. It was not too crowded and the weather was perfect. The lights are extremely beautiful and spread out throughout the park. The vibe was very festive and positive. Great value for price. They close at 900pm and we would have liked a little more time. Book the earlier times if possible.
Very nice zoo. Well manicured gardens and enclosures for the most part. Lots of exhibits under construction in Nov 21. Concessions were definitely below average though so bring your own food or plan to eat before/after.
Not just a zoo for education. Active in conservation efforts. Train exhibit is huge. Really cool. Arizona, California, and Western theme buildings. I love the logging area with mountains in the miniature train area. New Entrance, gift shop, and rhino exhibit is amazing. Wallaby area really nice. They roam free in it as you walk through it.
Not all of the animals have a lot of space, but it seems they are constantly making improvements and expanding. This is the only zoo that doesn't depress me.
Nice place, with an open space for most animals. Did not feel like they were behind a fence.
The new Rhino exhibit is awesome this place is so diverse and the feeling of actually being in Africa
Loved this place! Secret butterfly garden! Kids loved feeding the giraffes for $8. Great price. Good gift shop. Lots of walking though. Petting zoo! Loved it! Lots of educational stuff for the kids! Wallabies out of cages in a big habitat you can see them up close no gates. It was awesome!
