I spoke to the rental office the day I moved in and the next day the repairs were completed and very professionally done.

We love our Madison apartment and hand picked the location and the building for architectural style and for all the local amenities, a truly amazing location in Valencia, CA and have to rate that at 5.0.
However and for fear of repercussions, I cannot be totally honest about management and it’s side effects so for that reason, because in life there is always room for improvement, I would have to give an overall rating of 3.5.

Don’t be taken in by the swimming pool, grills, clubhouse, and well-kept grounds that you’ll see on your tour – the place fails in every way that matters. Management, when you can reach them, are dismissive of your concerns. Elevators are constantly breaking down. And the noise level is the worst I have encountered in an apartment complex: throughout the day and night, you will be subjected to building alarms, car alarms, construction noise, maintenance crews, delivery trucks, garbage trucks juggling dumpsters, unsocialized dogs fighting, and the shrill voice of the nearby water aerobics class coach. If you have inconsiderate neighbors, this only adds to your woes. No apartment complex is perfect, but it’s got to be better somewhere else. Keep looking.

Update to review: After seeing the response from management, I think it is necessary to point out that not every Google user gives their real name. I do, in fact, rent at the Madison, and I stand by my review. And is the HOA side aware that you're trying to shift the blame to them?
