The Majestic Ventura Theater reviews
19Was Not happy about this. Everything over priced and very small. They need a big toy con at a larger building. And more Transformers Toys! Funko pop n hotwheels all way over priced n I saw the two guys at the dollar tree store buying hotwheels n then selling them for over five dollars. Just glad I didn't bring my kids. Not coming next year to the "Toy Con" but the good vendors with the old toys a+ people, talked and knew their toys.
Some great shows in a small venue. Getting to/from the location is a bit awkward but it’s right next to downtown and there is a parking structure nearby so arrive early, enjoy dinner downtown, and then catch the show. We saw The Offspring and it was an incredible time.
One of my favorite venues. Small and fun. It's definitley worth attending an event here. Always a good time and I've seen many shows here.
Nothing wrong with the theater besides the fact that there is absolutely no AC. It makes it so difficult to enjoy whatever event I’m attending when it feels like I’m standing in an oven.
No ventilation.stupid hot and stuffy! Good show though. Oh.and the women's bathroom s were baaadddd! Wet floors and dirty.
Really cool place to catch a show. I love the old feel of the place, I really wish I knew what it looked like back in the day. It was really hot inside and I'm not sure they have air conditioning but the music sounded great. It was a small place, so there was no bad spot to stand. The band came down into the crowd and everything. The bar was ready to get drinks at and not too expensive. I can't wait to come back.
Great vintage venue in Ventura. We went there for a reggae show and had an epic time. Love the majestic!
Classic establishment. A bit beat, hot, and seems like sticky floors everywhere, but pretty cool
Staff, Drinks, and Venue were exceptional!
Looked like they had food also. Many happy people. Go early, parking and seating difficult.
I went to this place so many times but I will never be able to go back. Tickets are too expensive since they opened back up after the pandemic. A huge shame.
The hottest venue ever. Would not recommend attending a concert here until they get some better ventilation. Especially not between May through September. It was deathly hot and I was unable to enjoy the concert as much as I would have liked to. Please do better for your patrons Majestic Theater!
Really like the layout and the fact that they provide chairs in some areas to sit. I like that it's more of an intimate location but not too small.just right.
Really nice place to catch a show. I love when older live entertainment venues are modernized for live music. The multi tiered system makes it easy to get a good vantage point of the stage without being right up front. Lots of nice breweries and restaurants within a 10 minute walk so it's in a great location for before and after the show as well.
Nice venue but its so hot inside! Like a oven! Would not recommend going during the summer unless you like heat. It would really benefit them to invest in more fans or something.
I'm not much of a live music fan anymore. However it seemed like a good venue. An old art deco movie palace.
What a fabulous place to see such a great musician as Elvis Costello! Thoroughly enjoyed the show, atmosphere, and vibe going on here! Tammy D
This place can be divisive, it has great acts every year which is a huge plus with pre-sale and order options at the ticket office. The problem comes to drinks, and cleanliness. Over priced drinks and water no real food options so plan a visit at any of the other restaurants near Main ST. Very messy bathrooms and floors, the outside smoking areas are about the same. Security is thorough so it does feel safe and secure being a guest there.
Absolutely stunning venue! Breathtaking.
