The Marketplace, Davis CA

Quite expensive compared 2 other stores. You need to get the loyalty card to get discounts.

Nice variety of Stores to shop at. Parking is a little chaotic especially during weekends. Overall experience is Ok

Something for everyone here. The only downside is a cramped parking lot, but that’s a minor point. Lots of good businesses!

I deliver from there and it's pretty easy they are very helpful and I get through the line pretty fast.

It's a Safeway of small to medium size, relatively expensive compared to some of the other supermarket chains, but well-stocked with good quality products. This one is clean and pleasant.

Great business with helpful staff who dont mind offering recommendations to other businesses not atby the Marketplace.

It's always nice to shop, has Safeway, Pet food, office Depot, sandwich and Mexican restaurants. Nice place to get in and out.

Strip mall with good stores for every day items, including groceries, food, drug stores, etc.

If I need it. Everything is here. Watch out for aggressive kids selling candy in this Safeway.

I mean its just a shopping center.definitely go to Noah's Bagels tho, best bagels around

Market place has just about anything you would need. CVS, Safeway, Food spots, Goodwill, PetSmart, Big5 ect!

There are plenty options for food, maybe just for grab a juice &/or coffee, also convenient mall for shopping groceries, pet & sport supplies.

It's Safeway. Really, if you're willing to overpay for groceries you should go to Nugget Markets where it's worthwhile.

It's a market so not much to say. I do like the location and the product placement. Easy to locate your items. I do prefer the Safeway's in Davis then in the Pacific Northwest. In Washington it's hard to find items or assistance without an attitude. Good experience here in Davis.

People in the reviews are confusing Safeway with the actual Marketplace Plaza itself. If you want to review Safeway, do so on the Safeway page. The plaza is a really bright and clean place and a hub for all things essential. I would appreciate them marking the floors as one-way in the parking lot so people would know not to turn into the wrong way. The plaza can get pretty busy during the day and hard to find parking. But since the college students have left during the pandemic and summer times, there's lots of parking. Some stores here come and go frequently but Safeway is here to stay.

I only have one problem the CVS there the few times that I had prescriptions sent there it had taken such a long time to get them and they just were not very personable

Place is rad, best shopping center in davis, love the dos coyotes, the jamba, the Noah's bagels and the dancing pigs rock!
