Before coming here my depression and anxiety were all over the place. But they got it straightened out the first appointment. They really helped me thru a lot and helped me make some good changes in my life.

Former Employee

Few things to start off with, there is no break area, parking is far, no communication, no training, toxic management, no structure. This was the most unprofessional company I’ve worked with. I was told to work after hours as an hourly employee without pay as it was my “duty”. Fellow managers and direct supervisors were inappropriate with constant gossiping and favoritism.
This place was a joke.
If there is no support for staff there can’t be any support for clients.

CONS: Inappropriate relationships, unsupported clients, no accommodations, negative energy

Everyone was helpful and friendly and didn't make you feel bad for being there knowing we're there for mental health services. Very comforting!

They are easy to talk to and always give the best recommendations. My mood and overall mental health have never been better.

The therapists are absolutely amazing, but the corporate staff are BS, and they encourage their therapists to lie. They say one thing and then do another, and the therapists are left to clean up corporate's mess. The problems from the corporate staff end up negating all the great work the therapists do.

I would not recommend the Meadowglade. There are plenty of kind people who work there, but overall the management is incompetent.
They advertise themselves as catering to eating disorders, but offer little to no support in that regard. You see a nutritionist once a week via zoom. None of the staff members have experience with eating disorders. The food provided is not friendly to eating disorders, and no other options are offered. No one is monitoring patients eating habits - I know a resident who would not eat for days, since there was no accountability.
The groups were not helpful at all. Most moderators did not plan in advance, and the same one or two topics were discussed over and over. Many times, the groups were simply random talking or coloring, with no therapeutic involvement.
There was extreme disconnect and dysfunction in relation to the clinic and house. While there, the house and clinic were transitioned to have “nothing to do with each other”. The house offered no support to the patients with regard to mental health. If someone was having a hard time, the staff were not to contact our therapists nor assist in regulating. The only action taken if need be was calling 911.
The staff at the house were not experience in any aspects of psychological care. Some staff members crossed major boundaries, including purchasing liquor for patients and speaking about their own personal lives.
I was at the facility for 7 months, an excessive amount of time. There was no end goal or date for residents - if your insurance was paying, you could stay indefinitely. When I was released, there was no action plan in place ensuring my stability once I left.
If you are trying to work on your mental health and heal, please do not go here. Your time will be better spent elsewhere.

My teen was involved in a terrifying experience approximately a month ago when he was at the club, and as a result, he needed substantial therapy for PTSD. As soon as I checked him in at this facility for the first time, I was impressed by how kind and polite everyone working there was.

New patients are welcomed with warmth by the staff, who go out of their way to ensure that they are comfortable and, more importantly, safe.

If you want assistance in overcoming an addiction, you should come to this location. It is highly recommended that you search them up so that you may also take advantage of the Meadowglade. The treatments offered by The Meadowglade were given the highest possible endorsement by her therapist.

The staff at the Meadowglade made sure that I had the help I needed and was there for me whenever I needed them. When I came here for the first time, I had high hopes that everything would go off without a hitch.

After I described my situation to them, along with the steps that needed to be taken before I could start taking medication, they volunteered to help me. Fantastic physicians! Wonderful people who are also extraordinarily compassionate doctors.

My son has been a different person since accepting a promotion at work that has burdened him with some pretty weighty responsibilities. Of course I was proud when he was offered the position and accepted it but not so much now that I see the person he has become. His recent counseling sessions here seem to be making a big difference though. While I initially thought it would be better for him to back down from the challenge, I know feel he will be able to meet it head on.

While I knew I was not qualified to self-diagnose, I knew enough to know something was just not right. I have always been a social butterfly. Over the last couple of months I had no energy for the activities I usually find such pleasure in and no desire to see my friends. Coming to The Meadowglade has really helped me to get a handle on the inner issues that caused the change.

Interning here has been so beneficial to me. The care with which I am being mentored is such a clear indicator as to why the facility is so successful with its patients. I will take away so many skills for my future career. If I’m lucky enough, maybe that will be here.

Because I wanted to conduct some research using a facility such as this one, I decided to limit the number of online options to just three different places. After conducting my research and making my rounds, I determined that The Meadowglade lived up to my expectations.
