My hubs & I accidentally found this gem.
& oh my gosh the food there is sooooo good! We got the shredded beef sandwich & fries and we’ve been thinking about it all day we shared it and we decided to get our own from now onTheir customer service is 100%! They know a lot about their meats & have alot of variety of meat to choose from!
I live in Visalia, I would drive all the way to Fresno just for that sandwich & fries! We can’t wait to go back!

Great customer service and great Tri-Tip sandwiches. Gotta get the fries fried in beef tallow.delicious! Wide range of meats Tri-Tip, Lamb, Steaks, Split beef bones for bone marrow, sausages, bacon and lots of other choices.

I’ve been wanting to try their sandwiches and boy, oh boy, it was DELICIOUS! On Fridays, their special is the pastrami sandwich, and it was to die for, so, so, good! By far, the very best pastrami sandwich I’ve ever eaten. And, I eat their breakfast burritos often and they are very tasty! Highly recommend The Meat up!

Found this place by total accident - was looking for some food with a couple boys and saw they had sandwiches and oh boy, as a man who appreciates a good steak, this place was a candy shop.

Got a personal tour from Augustine who broke down ALL the meat, the dry aged, the Wagyu steaks from Japan and Australia, the feed… all the above.

Promised I’d be back and this past weekend I purchased the Wagyu Rib Eyes, and the high grade Japanese Wagyu fillets…

Yeah, imagine 4 men sitting around a table with a toothpick picking off bite sized steak bites for 20 minutes with their eyes rolling to the back of their heads, smiles on their faces while rubbing their bellies and you get the picture.

10/5 recommend.

One of the most dry Tri Tip sandwiches I've ever had in Fresno/Clovis. This could be due to someone new who does not know how to properly cook a Tri-Tip so I'm giving 3 stars. As for their cuts, they are good quality but the price per pound is a little off putting considering there are other competetors in town that offer the same quality cuts for less.

This place is awesome. I don't even know where to start. Ok I'll start. Deli meat is really good. Get the roast beef, they also make sandwiches. There's like one special sandwich of the day and then you can get like a deli sandwich. The sandwiches are really good. Bread is good the meats is good. They don't really have a lot toppings like pickles or other vegetables to put on there but cheese and mayo mustard but again good.

All meat is amazing that i've had so far. You can get obviously awesome steaks. They have all kinds of cuts. They have marinated wagyu skirt steak. The teriyaki is awesome and the Chipotle is really awesome. You can order big fancy roasts, it's expensive but SOOOOOO good.

You can also buy some meat and they will age it there pretty cool. They have a aging machine and you can see the aging meat.

The staff is also super knowledgeable about meat. I like talking to people that know stuff about stuff especially stuff that I like. I like me at. I like talking to these guys about me and they seem to like talking to me about meat also.

If you want some steak? Some meat definitely check this place out

I used to like this store, it was great when they first opened. Now it's a huge turn off them asking for $ tips.

My new place to purchase quality meat. Their customer service is above and beyond anything I've experienced in any other store. They have a great selection of high quality meat. I purchase steaks here for grilling and the product is better than I can purchase at any of the meat stores that I've been to.

Fantastic quality. Solid prices. Customer service is the best! Augustine and Eric are incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommended. Won't buy meats anywhere else.

This is the best meat store in Fresno. The owner is super friendly and always strikes a conversation with me about meats. I also appreciate his staff who are always so kind to help me.

Writing this while devour the cutest little bag or proper chips, and a Black Forest ham sandwich! The Meat Up nails it every time, great rotating daily sandwiches, the friendliest staff, reasonable prices, and always the best quality on everything! One of two food places in willing to “eat out” at in Fresno.
