Great little inn within walking distance of Solvang and an excellent restaurant in the lobby that is Michelin rated.

Small but unique and comfy. Within walking distance of everything. Weekends are crowded in town and parking is difficult. Hotel was a nice refuge and home base.

I was excited when reading the reviews that wine was complimentary; however, it no longer is and costs $28 now. Cute bed and breakfast style place. Room was comfy with fireplace. Staff was wonderful. Walking distance to everything fun!

We also came very late at night, like 11ish. We had two rooms, one an accessible one, and one a standard one. Other than the fact that I booked directly with them, and I believe paid more as a result, the stay, although very short was the highlight of our 8 night vacation. I own a b and b myself, (and while I have moral objections to shipping water from italy, when we have great american water nearby,) i loved the presentation, the decor, the amenities.

I wish that we had stayed there more than one night and my husband and I may return again, when we are not traveling with a person who needs ada accomodations. Their room was lovely though.i actually thought the house was about 100 years older than it is. I mean that as a compliment. It has a victoriana or at least a european feel, that I associate with the higher quality of times past. Anyway I found it charming, warm and extremely comfortable, especially the bed and the pillows.

I would most definitely return.

I stayed at the Mirabelle Inn for two nights. We arrived very late around 11pm and the staff was very welcoming and friendly, even for it being so late. We were in room 9 on the third floor. The staff suggested we take the elevator which was a little sketchy. Our room was nice but you could tell the building was older. The water pressure was great but I had trouble with the temperature. The beds were fine but the pillows not so much. The location was super convenient to the shops and food. If you order breakfast I'd recommend the avocado toast

I have been looking for a really nice hotel for my partner and I to go to, but unfortunately the poor customer service, the room downstairs next to the kitchen, the poor refurbishments have put me off, I hope that you can work on all those areas, let me keep looking!

Amazing service, amazing rooms, amazing town. There is also a Michelin star restaurant in the first floor.

We only hit the restaurant First Oak and it was amazing. Smaller menu and smaller portions but the food is unbelievable. A must if your in Solvang.

My girl friend and I booked a valentines weekend at the Mirabelle inn. Although this hotel has a very cute and boutique feel we unfortunately were given a terrible room. We paid over $360 for our room and were placed on the first floor in room 1 right next to the kitchen to the First and Oak restaurant. This is the only hotel room on the first floor and it’s placed right in between the restaurant bathroom and the restaurant kitchen. I will attach a photo to show you how close we were to the kitchen. We couldn’t go to bed because of how noisy it is. When we called the front desk at 9: 45 pm they just told us they couldn’t move us because they are fully booked. I wouldn’t be complaining at all if we were paying a discounted rate but that was not that case. In my personal opinion, a 4 star hotel with a Michelin star restaurant should know better than to have a guest room next to the kitchen and bathroom in a noisy location. Other than this unfortunate issue we had the hotel is pleasant and has a nice vibes and provided us a complimentary bottle of wine!

The location bills themselves as a "boutique" Hotel but after visiting there this past Valentines weekend we can say this is not the case. The inn is "old", and has been refurbished to give it a boutique appearance but you can tell it's been awhile and the last refurbishment wasn't done very well. We purchased 2 nights, in the "Suite". I say Suite because that's what they call it, for lack of an actual room number. It's in the Attic of the building and structurally what you would expect. In the room, there were exposed wiring, two sunroofs that were both heavily cracked and dirty, the paint was poor and the walls were also dirty and faded, there was an old school, and yellowed, AC unit attached to the far wall, and there were a number of small doors that were locked and apparently led to nowhere. The furniture was nice, and had a boutiqe'y feel to it. There was a large dollhouse that we imagined some would find interesting but I thought was creepy (something you might see in the Poltergeist, or Ghost Hunters). The bed was just fine. They gave us a complimentary wine bottle, which was also okay.

Room aside, our main issue really was the staff, which, the one gentleman named Tommie aside, the entire staff was curt, or sometimes just outright abrupt with us. We felt none of the staff had any time to chat or discuss anything. This is a "boutique" hotel in Solvang, so our expectation was we could at least chat a little bit about the town. We'd hoped booking at a "boutique" hotel and shelling out for the top suite would provide us with an experience. That was just not the case. We felt rushed in almost every interaction and it really got to the point where we just didn't want to bother them, or try at all by the second night.

So the Mirabelle boasts a Michelin rated restaurant called the First & Oak and we very quickly learned that about 95% of the staffs effort went into managing this restaurant alone. At a guess we'd estimate the Mirabelle has no more than 20 to 25 rooms and the restaurant was booked the entire stay. We had to work and wait patiently checking in 3 times on our second evening and finally ask Tommie to help us get a seat. You might think spending as much money as we did on the Suite would at least get us into the restaurant but that wasn't the case.

The food itself was good. We did order an appetizer that never arrived. The same staff that helps check you in, or direct you to rooms also serves as wait staff. We started to understand why they had little patience with guests.they're all doubling as waiters/waitresses. We also ordered the Catch of the day which was a Cod. We received Salmon instead (which wasn't even on the menu) and so we politely sent it back and asked them to correct the order. If this were a franchise restaurant we might not have cared but we wanted to eat here because of the Michelin rating and because they advertised "loudly" that they were the only Michelin rated restaurant in the town. No complaints about the food, other than the missing appetizer and the mixup in our main course. We did think to ourselves that with such errors, another restaurant might have offered to comp us but we didn't ask and they didn't offer.

Overall, we felt the hotel was just "old" and tried to pass this old feeling off as "boutique". Given the $$ it cost us to rent the "Suite" for 2 nights, I would not only NOT stay here again, but recommend others consider some of the other hotels in the area. For a 3rd of the price we paid, we might consider staying here again if we just needed a bed. But for the money that we paid, we did not get the "experience" we were hoping for. As a matter, we ended up getting a very negative experience overall.

My husband and I were booked to stay for our 2nd wedding anniversary in which we had been looking forward to this for a month since we made our reservation. On the day of our reservation the hotel called us 1 hour after check in to tell us due to plumbing issues we would not have the room we booked, when we voiced our disappointment and asked what they were willing to do all they could offer was another room without the jacuzzi tub in which they would offer a 10% discount off the original cost of the other room in which when spending $460.for one night stay to not get what you were expecting or looking forward to the discount was nothing and didn't even cover the sales tax. We asked several times if there was anything else they would be willing to do and they said no. This hotel received one star because their customer service in handling this very disappointing situation was horrible and the attitude of the person helping us was like whatever take it or leave it, in which we decided to leave it and cancelled our reservation and found some where else to stay. Based on poor customer service I doubt we will give this hotel we were looking so forward to another chance.

So this was. Interesting to say the least. Never been to Solvang, so went off reviews, and booking one month in advance i thought was more than plenty of time, or at least I thought through a 3rd party site.

Anyway, I booked here Friday through Sunday for my wife's birthday. When I booked, there were 3 rooms available. I specifically remember this as I like to shop around and always check multiple sites as well as reviews. No hassle doing so, thought the area was quite pricey but as everything else was in the same range, 700$ for two nights was average.

We checked in Friday mid afternoon. Was booked into the only room on the first floor. I thought it was weird as it was sooo early that we would get this room, but was too excited to get out and explore the small town that we didn't think much of it. Honestly, i thought we were going into a closet

The room, by all means was clean. Nice/cute set up. TV to be honest was a little small, at least to my thought, but was cool that it moved in all directions of the room.

Anyway, after being out and about all afternoon and most of the evening, we arrived back to the room at about 8. There was a "private event" at the restaurant located onsite of the hotel. We honestly didn't think anything of it going to our room, but when we got inside, it was as if the door didn't even exist. We could literally hear conversations being held by staff (jeez so critical of people), and even guests in the restaurant. We wanted to watch a flick and enjoy the night together without the kids, couldn't to say the least. The noise outside our door was just mood killing. We decided to watch some TV and just go to sleep.

To make matters worse, the BED, omg the bed. This bed was sooooo uncomfortable that the wife and i were awake half the time trying to find a "spot"

That same night, since we were so uncomfortable, we looked for another place to stay, for at at least the next night. We were out of luck. NOTHING was available.

Saturday night was the same with the bed, but we were sooo beat from having a great time out and about, once we fell asleep we were out, only to wake up with the lumpy bed in the middle of the night and try to get comfortable all over again.

I apologize for the long post, but after paying 700$ for a room for two nights, not even with a fridge or coffee maker, i really don't think this was worth it. I can't help to think that this was purposely done as other guests were still checking in when were were returning from our outing Friday evening. Not once did the hotel reach out and ask about accommodations to assign a room, so how is one to take this?

Everything was nice, just the bed was not comfortable. To lumpy, and one side was sliding downwards.

Beautiful, cozy boutique hotel with great hospitality! Kelly at the reception took such a good care of us. Must enjoy dinner at the First and the Oak, where you can try all their appetizers, pasta and the seafood. Everything was so tasty, except the steak was too well done. Benjamin served our table with great professionalism, ensuring our little birthday celebration went well.

Wifi sucks, wife made the mistake. Pricey for what we got. It was close to the village shops.

Stayed in room 7 and had a pretty cool view. Super cozy and noise from adjacent rooms was minimal. Old hardware and furnishings, but the bed was super comfortable. Great night of wine and relaxation. Breakfast was great and one-time when ordered. Will stay again!
