Never have i ever been so dissatisfied in a dinner.
I ordered a full priced item from the menu. And received the tiniest amount of food, barely enough to feed a small sized child.

When i received the check, i told my waiter about my disappointment. Because i was paying a pretty decent sum of money and had like the tiniest amount of food.so they offered me an ice cream on the house, wich raised the price on my check even more because of the term "kitchen fee" of 4% + tipping

We paid way to much for the food we've got, so i wouldn't recommend eating here

PAY ATTENTION! Very sketchy with the bill and tipping. They added extra items to our order which they then removed on the bill, but this made our $41 bill have a 20% tip of $12.80. So we ended up tipping over 30% on our bill! I don't mind giving a big tip but not when deception is involved. This doesn't even include the additional 4% kitchen fee!

Hidden 4% “kitchen fee”! Excuse is that they don’t want to raise menu prices - translation is they want to hide their real prices and cheat customers. Might as well cut prices but add a 50% fee right? Haha

Good atmosphere and vibes. Convenient location near Santa Monica pier. Mediocre food and not much service. In addition to a 4% kitchen fee to the bill, they have a minimal suggested tips of 20%

Fabulous dining experience! We took our 2 and 4 year olds with us and the entire staff was very accommodating and patient with us.
They showed us the best place to park our stroller and even brought us water and our kids waters (with lids and straws) upon arrival.
They also offered to put in the kids' food orders first so their food would come out sooner. Genius!
Randy and Johnnie did a magnificent job of waiting on us. Randy was our server and Johnnie took the time to ensure we were well take care of too.
The other staff members were also kind and friendly.
The cocktails and food were delectable!
The atmosphere is eclectic, chill and warm.
We were beyond impressed and will most definitely be back!
Thank you for such an amazing lunch!

Nice ambience for dine in or a drink. The food was good and had vegan options as well. We had ordered a variety of items from tuna, salmon to falafels. The item that stood out for most of the folks was the smash burger. I tried the falafel lettuce wraps and that turned out to be good. However, I would like to try out smash burger next time

The food and service were amazing and they were very accommodating of my daughter’s food allergies. The server knew exactly what he dairy and didn’t and even let us know on one of our dishes that it had dairy so that we wouldn’t share it with her. We had the yellowtail
Crudo and the prime rib nik nils which were all good. Atmosphere was ok but mostly because I’m an old lady and don’t love dark bars with loud music. If I was still a young girl I’d love it.

Love this place! Sat at the bar for Happy Hour. Zack was a wonderful bartender. Cocktails were half price from 3-7. They were delicious and very strong! Fried chicken sandwich was also very delicious! Decor and vibe was classy and beautiful. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Food and drink is fine. But they add on a 4% “kitchen fee” without disclosing upfront or when presenting the bill. When I asked the waiter what it was for, she responded with “it’s a fee for the kitchen”. Um, ok. This is sketchy and not transparent.

The Misfit Bar & Restaurant is a solid choice, earning a strong 4.5-star rating. Their cocktails are on point, offering a variety of strong and flavorful options. What sets them apart is their commitment to vegetarian options, ensuring there's something delicious for everyone. If you're looking for a place that combines great drinks with veg-friendly choices, The Misfit is worth a visit.

I came here with my gf to find a chill bar to drink eat and ideally watch the nba game. There was only one tv which was outside of viewing distance so there went that idea. Nevertheless, we got seated pretty much instantly on a 7pm saturday night. Ambience was great with the lights being dim, high ceiling, and people chatting away.

All the food came out blazing and a little suspiciously too fast.
We got the
Japanese Lager - really light beer that didnt even taste like one tbh
Handmade Fries - 7/10 typical fries.honey mustard sauce was best part.huge portion.
Mac and cheese - typical mac and cheese laced with jalapenos.also pretty big portion
prime rib knicks - basically sliders with prime rib.easily the best part of the meal. Reminded me of house of prime rib
Sangria - watered down sangria that seemed like it was prepared in advance.

I would probably come back again but in a larger group setting. Their happy hour deal seems really legit. Overall not too expensive and good value

The Prime Rib Nik Niks shot to the very top of my list of favorite things to eat on the entire planet ever, the memory of which will now remain a constant source of longing. The Givens Farms Snap Peas salad was also extraordinarily good. Admirable job with the fresh vegetables they advertise on their menu they get from the Santa Monica Farmers Markets fresh daily, which is in no way hard to believe given the taste. And this is coming from a woman with a palate so picky she did not so much as try one bite of any vegetable aside for French fries and corn until she was 12. Service and sense of hospitality overall a bit lacking. Bathroom was gross. Smelled bad and was in major disarray. I reported it to management immediately. Pretty typical for Los Angeles bathroom cleanliness, though.

We decided to check out this restaurant for a leisurely brunch, but unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to our expectations. The brunch options offered were rather basic, leaning more towards typical bar foods, and while the quality was decent, it didn't leave a lasting impression. One thing that bothered me personally was the absence of drip coffee, which seemed a bit odd for a brunch spot. They only had espresso drinks available, and even my cappuccino turned out to be pretty average.

On a positive note, they do offer bottomless mimosas for $23, and it was evident that many customers were enjoying them. The atmosphere of the bar-restaurant is quite intriguing, creating an interesting vibe for an afternoon hangout and drinks. The staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

However, when it comes to breakfast specifically, I must say there are far better options available in Santa Monica. I would recommend this place more for a laid-back hangout and drinks in the afternoon rather than a go-to spot for a satisfying breakfast.
