The Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment - (The MADE) reviews
9 If you love pre turn of the century video games this is the place for you. They have an incredible collection of consoles and games
All on period correct CRT displays
Pros: has all of your old favorites!
Cons: makes you feel old because new releases from your childhood are now museum pieces.
Great place to check out games on the video game systems that your parents refused to buy for you.
I give them “A+” for everything they have done, are doing, for how far they have come and… I wonder how many people realize that MADE does amazing job keeping kids away from streets and give them interests in life to pursue. As first hand witness of those happy kids faces I promise you this is a good place for everyone. I salute volunteers because they must be saints to give so much of them selves to this museum. Please go check it out. It’s worth it.
Oakland best kept secret! Walk in there and journey back in time. It’s got something for everyone. For those millennials and older be prepared to feel a bit nostalgic.
A great trip through my childhood gaming experiences. So many systems and titles that brought back great memories.
Nostalgic, is how you feel if video games were part of your childhood. That place bring all you memories back to life. An entire afternoon playing with my kids and showing them what real games looks like.
I love the made. I volunteer there and I'm a lover of both old school and modern video games.
Most of the old games. Mostly home console but some commercial, like Astroids and Pacman. Funky but not in an all bad way.
