The Nails Workshop, San Diego CA

Nails were.just done 10 days ago, and it's badly chipped! They started to chip on day 6. These are gel. What the heck happened? Don't waste your time here like I did! I waited 30 mins to be attended to only to spend a bunch of money and not even have this last line than 1 week.

They were so thorough and did such a good job for me after the last place I went to really messed up my natural nails. They look good and feel good.

I love this nail salon! Everyone working here is super meticulous and kind. I’ve gotten two beautiful chrome dip manicures at this place so far, and will keep coming every 3 weeks. They even offer you a soda or water during your pedicure - those kinds of small details set them apart!

They did such a great job! I strongly recommend. They were very skilled and did exactly what I wanted and more. I'm only going to get my nails done here now!

They did a great job with my nails and toes even have me a cute design. Prices resonable. Staff super nice. Easy to find walked in with no appointment.

Just got my nails done here Friday and Tim was wonderful He was very professional and did exactly what I asked for. Very nice, quiet environment and will definitely be back!

I decided to take a chance on this little shop even though some more popular ones were down the road and closer to a scheduled appointment.
I sent a message via FB the night before after hours expecting to get an answer in the morning, but I received a message almost immediately confirming they could get me in.
When I arrived, Tim greeted me and listened to my concerns about what was going on with my nails and offered ideas. (Dude knows his s**t!)
May jumped in doing nails, and Lisa was
on my toes.
Both were methodical perfectionists and were polite but not over chatty, which I appreciated.
My only criticism is a personal one, I don't like the whole pillow thing for doing nails in the chair and reaching over I wish they had supply carts on each side or one hand at a time. It's an overall criticism of the industry, and maybe Tim will be creative, and that will make his shop stand out.
Lisa even got my darn ingrown nail out, and the polish is perfect, and I mean PERFECT!
May was so focused and would not accept anything other than flawless. And still, when checking out, (total was around $100, and I splurged! Getting a fancy pedi and full set of tips on the mani with french) Tim insisted on a quality control check one more time and found a little bubble that neither I nor May caught.
He wasn't barking at her but had her remedy it quickly before I walked out the door.
You can tell they all respect each other and work together, and BTW, the place was SPOTLESS with more color options than Home Depots' paint department.
I am so happy I finally found a regular salon.

Found this place after trying a few salons with so so results. Love my fill in. Longest lasting manicure I've had in a while. Will definitely be going back.

I LOVE this place! Tim is awesome and an incredibly talented artist. I’m so picky when I get my nails done, but I have left happy every single time. My mom and I have started going monthly for manicures and pedicures. I would highly recommend Nails Workshop to anyone looking for a relaxing and satisfying experience!

I've been coming here for a long time and I always like the service. They as of now are under new management so they have new prices. It is cheaper than before which is fine but same great quality and Same mployees. They always do a great job at my mani pedi and are so kind and I've never had any issue.
