The Old Wagon Saloon & Grill, San Jose CA

They messed up our order 3 times in terms of giving us the wrong drinks and the wrong wing flavor. It wasn't that big of a deal and we ate it. It was good. The servers were very nice and they provided a nice atmosphere and accommodated us with heating for outside dining. As I state with all my other restaurant reviews, always check the times for the best availability for dining.

Great place. Need more Western things. Sit at the bar, great server. Calamari was expensive, considering half the plate had beep fried green beans.

Friendly staff, great vibe and extensive delicious food menu. The calamari for food - yum! The house whiskey is a must:)!

The bartender was willing to mix my beer and cider without needing to order 2 drinks and beg for a large glass. Great food. Very engaged Crowd during the world cup. Try the fried green beans.

It was a good time. Music could have been a lil more upbeat but their waitresses we're amazing great friendly service.

The worst place to have a party in bay area.
They are supper rude, they attacked to our friend just because he came from wrong door.
They hit him so bad, it looks like they were looking for a situation to attack somebody.
We mentioned so many times a pregnant lady is with us.
I guessed they were drunk already.
They are unbelievable rude, and dangerous

Never dined in there but staffs are arrogant.

The bar will have loud music every Thursday night till 12 a.m.
our apt building has great sound proof that we don’t even hear planes passing by, yet their noise is just unbearable.

Staffs were rude and denied everything about their loudness (even when they didn’t hear what we say) and talked as if living in downtown means you have to bear their loud music at THIS time of A WEEKDAY night…They also asked us to talk to the apartment and how come would the apartment be responsible for a noisy bar not managed by it?

Living in downtown doesn’t mean it’s somewhere not ruled by the law. No other bars have band playing music with amplifiers at this crazy volume. Come on, it’s just a small bar with this few customers, don’t pretend to be a music festival, except that it’s as noisy as a real one.

Please stop being selfish and put business interest over the neighborhood wellness.

Fun place with great atmosphere and friendly staff. The meal I had was some of the best I've had in a long time. The house made BBQ sauce was to die for.

ORDERED THE calamari. I DIDNT REALIZE I WOULD BE SERVED DEEP FRIED BEANS AND CALAMARI. 10 pieces of calamari and 15 pieces of beans. What the heck! WHAT A watse of money!

Great decor for an old west saloon style bar. Food was pretty good for a bar - tried the chicken ceasar salad and the pulled pork and neither were dry and they both had good flavor.

I liked the atmosphere and the music. The BBQ cheeseburger was worst burger I have ever had. Next time gonna try the pulled pork sandwich.

Our party had the brisket, ribs, and chili. All were great and we loved the cornbread. Our waitress was great.

Went here with a group of coworkers for lunch. The food is great but the menu is a bit limited so if you have people in your party who don't eat meat they will only have a couple options. We showed up at 11: 30 and discovered they didn't open until 12 (our fault for not checking first) but they did let us in around 11: 50. For a group of 5 we were in and out in about 40 minutes. Service was good. The music inside is a little loud, so not the best spot if you want a lot of conversation.

Appreciate the shuffleboard and the outside access! Wish it were a little less sticky inside, but the staff was awesome!

Always recieve great service. Everyone is very nice and friendly. The food is good, I recommend trying their soup, they make it fresh daily and it’s delicious!

Favorite bar/grill in San Jose. Lively hut relaxing atmosphere and a great outdoor patio space. All of the food is great, but the chicken wings are really impressive!

Ordered medium rare and got over-done (almost burnt) burger.
Also music is very loud outside even during day time.
