The Original Farmers Market reviews
25There was a large variety of food. I highly recommend walk around before buying your lunch. I don't have a lot of time so I buy the first things I saw. Overall great food variety.
LA classic. This place embodies Los Angeles. That's where you need to go to capture the true essence of the city.
This place has so many nice little shops. They’re a lot of things you can find here that you won’t normally find at other places
More of a city market (prepared foods and goods vs.veggies and produce), but lots of choices for a diverse crowd or a group. Touristy, but still fun and right next to the Grove. Not cheap, but a good lunch spot if exploring museum row.
Closes at 9pm & we got there after 8: 15pm but a few things were still open. A majority of places had already closed for the night but there were a 1-3 dessert options, 2-4 food places still open, & a few 1-3 beer places that were still open.
So much to do around here. Tried the pickle place and it was fun! There is a whole store dedicated to hot sauce which is pretty cool
Wow what a variety of the best food around, Corn beef sandwiches, mexican, BBQ, kabobs and more! Great outing for the family, something for everyone and if you have a sweetooth your at the right place!
Except for the fact that it can get a bit crowded here, the Farmers Market is as the title suggests - an original place where food aficionados come together and partake in great food and drink.
Very cozy place to visit. Many places to eat (not always so cheap though) and lots of souvenirs! Parking is pricy but you can have a free validation if you buy something in a souvenir shop, so make sure to do so! Make sure to also have a look at the old photos that are spread around that shows what is was back in the days when the Gilmore stadium was there.
I really love coming here with my kids. They can have the experience in marketing and selling products here. They totally love it here. Specially the samples, my kids love them so i must buy it. I get my kids to eat more fruit then candy now. Good for their health.
Cute The Original Farmers Market. Convenient for those living in Bernal Heights. It can be a bit of a trek to get there without a car.
Salmon dishes with beet salad & coleslaw. Clam chowder with fresh sourdough bread at MonsieurMarcel Bistro. Fresh, tasty & filling. Tourists visiting from everywhere, crowded. FALL FEST next weekend Oct 13 & 14 (petting zoo, pumpkin patch, pie-eating, racing pigs, etc.)
LA's iconic Farmers Market is next door to the now famous The Grove shopping and eateries and CBS Studios. Great sampling of international and domestic food and desserts. Lots of unique purchase opportunities.
I was a couple of times here and this is a great place for good food and people watching. My recommendation is Pampas grill bar with Brazilian grill food. Delicious.
Being our first time here, it was nice. One side was like a farmers market with shops and the other side was like an outside mall. We didn't get a chance to see everything so we would like to return.
Love this place. So many amazing eats, treats and boundless surprises. Parking is free with validation which is a huge plus!
This farmers market is great. It is mostly pet friendly, which is why we stopped here. We needed to waste some time while we were waiting for someone else.l, so we brought our dog here. The outer areas are walkable for dogs. There is a middle area where the restaurants are that you cannot bring dogs in. There is a wide variety of stores and food vendors. Very nice, especially when the weather is good!
This place is amazing! There are so many things to choose from! From food to eat right there or things that you can buy. This is a One Stop Shop

This was such a fun The Original Farmers Market! We loved the vibrancy and presence of communities of color and the beautiful stall murals. There were some great food options and prices were good. We were lucky enough to snag a parking spot in the small lot across the street, otherwise parking could have been an issues.
