7 As a Cal Poly student, go up at least once.
Bishop peak is more fun but P is to close for not doing.
Short hike (but kind of steep), parking is only close by on the weekends (otherwise you need a permit) and it has a great view of SLO without the long hike up bishop's or Madonna
The P is a essential hike for anyone going to or visiting Cal Poly. A short but steep climb with an awesome view. So convenient and open 24hours a day. The view is always worth it. Sometimes you can see wild horses roam the hillside as well.
Very nice hike to hike up to as a first hike one might go up at CalPoly. Fun hike, which is a staple at CPSLO
Great view, easy hike, try to go at sunset. May be crowded during certain points of the year.
Quick hike, great view. Just know that the beginning is a pretty steep incline.
