The Palm Court at RH San Francisco

The combo of the views/interior, great service, and tasty food, this place is a home run for me.i thoroughly enjoyed my experience here at palm court as someone who never dined in fine dining before.thus, i wasn't clear on prices matching the food portions and all.but to me, the price was worth the meal.i came here in july and went to some other high end places since then, and in the end, i still prefer/like this place the most because of the three in a row combo.first, the interior is truly out of this world.though it was busy, due to the high ceiling, the place felt so spacious and luxurious.the ambience was so calming and relaxing, i can't stress how much i felt as peace when dining here.you don't need to dress fancy, but it makes you feel all levels of classy if you did.second, the service was so great.the waitress that helped us was very kind and the wait time for the food came out at reasonable times. (ie.first avocado took ten minutes, then steak came in 20 minutes/ 10-15 if you count us eating the avocado during that time, then just a few minutes for dessert). Again if you did reservations online and stating that it is for a birthday, the dessert came as a complimentary item, which is very much surprising and much appreciated.finally, the food.though i agree that the menu is very limited, there was still things i would order from their menu as a very picky eater.to me, i genuinely liked everything we ordered.my ranking is 1.steak, tied for 2.avocado and mushrooms, 3.creme brulee:

1.i agree with others that the steak be can slightly less burned, but in terms of flavor/texture, it was fantastic.it was sweet and salty (that salt is not needed imo) and perfectly medium rare and very filling for two.

2.the avocado is indeed expensive, but to me, the taste was worth the price as someone who's never had caviar, so everything combined worked wonderfully, taste wise.

2.my companion loved the mushrooms and i also loved the various textures with crispy potatoes and soft mushrooms.the potatoes can be a little on the salty-ier side but still. HOW CAN THE OUTSIDE BE SO CRUNCHY BUT so soft on the inside?

3.the creme brulee is the cherry on top.it was very butterscotchy and sweet and was very delicious, brownie points for a silver candle ;)

i'll definitely come back again because truthfully, i really enjoyed my experience.yes the price can be kinda crazy.but after going to some other places, this place was the most worth my money, after factoring in my home run combo explanation ;)

The food was good. Menu is very simple and straightforward, covering an equal amount of options for meat lovers and vegetarians. Personally I like their Corte Madera menu better, but this is good enough. Atmosphere and setting is wonderful, nice place for celebration and romantic dinner. Service is great too, very tentative, though our server came too often (like every 5mins!) that we felt rushed by him.

It feels like dining inside a museum in Europe!
High-end, elegant, great food, awesome service, and excellent ambiance.
Don't forget to order another drink on 1st floor restaurant bar and bring it with you to the rooftop garden.
Great idea to bring family and friends over for a gathering meal and after the feast you can walk around the whole building.
It's an innovative concept to combine design and luxury furniture shop with fine dining.
RH already pre-selected guests because of the fine dining, so when we move to a new place, open a new restaurant or luxury hotel, or get funding from a VC and start an office, we immediately think about RH. Very smart and creative. Love it.
I've never seen people so happy window-shopping at furniture stores; this is the first time I've seen smiles on every single face.
The experience is super unique.

You’re paying for the showroom. The food is extremely pricey for basic food. Ambiance was the only impressive thing, so that’s what you’re paying for.

This place is a MUST. The food is good, then you take a tour of the palace, it's amazing!

Stunning space with great food and service. We came here for brunch on a Sunday. There are very few breakfast items (3 on the menu), so I recommend planning on lunch or dinner, but the food we ordered was very good. I had the French omelet and hubby had the waffles. We also shared the truffle fries. We walked through all the staged rooms afterwards on each of the floors and admired the furniture and decor. We finished off our tour by checking out the cool rooftop patio and views.

I feel like they spent a lot of effort on the decor but then the food was an afterthought. The food was mediocre for the amount of money spent. It lacked imagination and even flavor. It wasn’t bad, it was just average. And for $600, I want better than average.
Our server was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is nice, but overall there are 10 other restaurants in the city I’d choose to go to before I choose to go back here.

The entire experience is top-notch. The building is beautiful. The furniture is gorgeous. The design is impeccable. The food is great. Last but not least, the entire staff from the front door to the bartender is amazing. They work together seamlessly while not having an air of pretentiousness.

Every time I’ve visited, I’m delighted. I also love the showroom open concept. We perused each floor in leisure. We could interact with the furniture. No one is ever there making us feel uncomfortable for spending a bit too long on a very comfortable couch.

Definitely a great experience overall. I’ll continue to return with my many groups of friends.

Ambience was awesome, server and other wait staff were great and attentive. Had burrata starter that was very good, truffle fries with the ribeye was the favorite. Ribeye was served medium well and could not have been tastier. Rooftop area is one of the best for comfort and view. Parking is a little challenging unless you want to valet.

The restaurant is beautiful, the service is great, the food was delicious. Relatively easy to find street parking. I gave 3 stars, however, because we were not seated until 12: 25pm for a noon reservation.

Beautiful restaurant inside the RH store. The decoration and the service are impeccable. It's not cheap but worth the experience. The menu is limited but everything is delicious. We had Cesar salad, roasted chicken, roasted sweet potatoes and for dessert the banana split. They have valet parking but there is plenty of parking space on the street.

I had dinner with my family here. The food and the scenery were outstanding. I don’t think words can even describe how beautiful the restaurant is. Beau was our server and she was very helpful and friendly. She was extremely attentive which made us really enjoy our dinner much more. We got some amazing recommendations from Nino. The way he explained his favorite dishes made my mouth water. Nino was also very sweet too and the staff made a point of remembering our names to make the experience more personal. I recommended the fresh burrata, it was the best starter I have ever tasted. The chicken is juicy and very carefully cooked, it was outstanding. We also had the cauliflower steak and the beat carpaccio which were fantastic. There are a wide variety of wines that we enjoyed. I will for sure come again and recommend it to friends. I recommend getting a few items and sharing around the table. Everything is too good to pick just one thing. Thanks Beau and Nino!

We were very excited to experience this beautiful restaurant. Unfortunately we were very disappointed when comes the food. Every dishes came room temperature at best. Garlic fries were cold, And send it back and came back little warmer. Good luck to y'all

Gorgeous setting, but the food is entirely underwhelming and frankly a little boring. If you want an over-salted mushroom on some crispy potatoes, seasoned only with more salt, this is the place for you! Disappointing; I expected more.

It is as beautiful as they say it is. I have been to other RH’s and am always impressed by the quality of food at an elevated furniture store. From the burger, wine, and fries, to the artichoke, and to the mushrooms…Wow. When you are feeling full it’s nice to go lay on the cloud couch on the floors above. I highly recommend for drinks, food, a view, or a nice little nap…

Overall good food. Service is reasonable. It took a while (35 min or so) for us to get our food.

My husband and I went here for our Christmas eve dinner date. A very nice concept of having furniture showroom and a restaurant together. We were surprised by how good the food was! We got the grilled avocado w/ caviar, whole branzino, and rotisserie chicken sandwich - everything was cooked well & tasted amazing. This place is definitely for special occasion type of date.

Oh! The rooftop view was also amaziiiiiing esp during sunsets:)

Food is good. They have three plant based options of the three only the cauliflower steaks are vegan. The mushroom dish has butter and Parmesan on it. Not sure what the third one’s deal is. Probably butter and cheese.
