The Palms At Bonaventure Assisted Living & Memory Care

The Palms is great, it has gone much better than expected. The staff is very attentive, my mom loves it there. I would highly recommend the Palms to anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

The Palms is providing warm, efficient, caring, attentive, cheerful care for our parents. There have been hospitalizations and complications for both mom and dad and the staff members at The Palms have been wonderful to partner with in taking care of all their needs. Mom & Dad are in a clean, bright, well laid out apartment for them to call home and their needs are being readily met. We highly recommend this place and are so grateful for the good care that they are providing for our parents.

We were hoping Mom would live here much longer. After living on her own for the past 10 years, she was really starting to enjoy The Palms and all that it had to offer. The staff was wonderful and did everything they could to make her feel welcome and comfortable in her new home.

The Palms staff were exceptional, displaying a high level of competence and genuine care towards their guests. From the moment my Mother arrived, they welcomed her with warm smiles and a willingness to assist her throughout her time there.

What truly set them apart, however, was their genuine care for the well-being and comfort of my mother. They went above and beyond to ensure that she felt at home. They showed a sincere interest in making sure she had the best possible experience.

Their caring nature extended beyond their professional duties. They took the time to engage in meaningful conversations, getting to know her on a personal level, and making her feel appreciated. This personalized approach made her feel like more than just a patient, but rather a part of a warm and welcoming home community.

I Love working with the residents and their families I love giving them their meds and talking to them and assisting them with whatever they need help with. I do medication and I do caregiving and housekeeping for them.

I loved it here.the staff they use to have were so caring it was a good fun place for family members. Residents amazing people! Management terrible humans. The toxic work environment the yelling at the residents. Please if you love mom/pop please don’t bring the here. I was fired on false accusations. Guilty by Association. I don’t know how they manage to stay open the nurse that over sees the meds does not go by the book. Brandy is the rudest person she will be nice i front of family but that fades. They do have favorites… and don’t bother asking front desk for help she’ll yell at the residents like they are 4… I’m sad knowing the residents are not getting what they pay for.

Living at The Palms has enriched my life in many ways. The people here are loving and kind. I particularly enjoy the activity program, I have made a lot of friends and feel like this is home. The activities have really kept me alive and I can’t imagine my life without it. The Activities Director, John, has an infectious spirit that extends to all of us. Our time together is very joyful! Thank Palms for being here for me!

If you are looking for a wonderful place for your Mom/Dad, look no further than The Palms. My Mom has been at The Palms for six years - first in Assisted Living and currently in Memory Care. There is no other place I would trust to keep my Mom happy, safe and active through this time in her life. She loves to sing, play games and interact with people. She is always busy at The Palms.
The motto for the staff at The Palms is to treat each resident as if they were their own grandparent. My family can rest assured that our Mom is extremely happy here.
The management and staff are always kind and helpful. They have helped my family navigate through the difficult times of dementia. No matter what time of day or night, they have always helped us. I will never forget the first time my Mom looked at me and forgot who I was, John White was there to comfort me. They always help the whole family.
You and your loved one will be incredibly happy and grateful you found a home at The Palms.

The staff is awesome and really do try their best to care for the residents. Some of the negative reviews are from disgruntled ex-employees who were not so great at their job. Overall, the facility and the residents are cared for. The pharmacy could use some work but that is not the fault of the Palms.
