The Pizza Press reviews
15Ingredients, service, overall appearance of the place, it's just good there. The staff is always helpful, playing good music.
This is the best Pizza Press I have ever gone to. Their food is top tier, ingredients/pizzas always taste amazing and the employees are pretty great too! Unlike the other Pizza Press locations, the Santa Ana one has such an amazing taste. They definitely have a fresh and home style flavor that doesn’t feel so…. Chain restaurant -esq if that makes any sense:) I did ask the guy that made my pizza and he said that their pizza dough is made in house! I usually visit in the early afternoons and the opener always makes me feel welcome and is very attentive. Super hardworking dude, as well as all the other staff. Santa Ana Pizza Press is definitely the go-to spot for any santanero <3 best pizza in Santa Ana!
A bit of a wait, but it is make your own pizza place. Went after a photo meet up. So we had a large group. But plenty of seating. A large selection of drinks. And the pizza was excellent. Will definitely bring the girlfriend here when we are nearby
Love the pizza press. Can make your own pizza in front of your eyes. Good place to sit down a relax.
What a cool concept of pizza making.
It was all new to me. My boyfriend had talked about it a couple of times, but I never followed until we went together the other night.
The first step caught me by surprise.
They grab the dough, press it then move on to prep with toppings!
I felt like a kid at the wonka factory lol
I seen how the gentlemen, added toppings without hesitation.
Within 15 mins, the pizza was prepped and bake ready to eat!
We order 2 pizza with a cold beer so our total was about $50.
I highly recommend trying The Chronicle- it has flavors like Extra virgin olive oil, mozzarella, imported artichoke hearts, grape tomato, red onion, crimini mushroom, and roasted red bell peppers, finished with fresh basil
It was be so awesome to have a live band on Fridays nights. Or Maybe they already do but what the heck why not comment about it!
The pizza is one of the best and the customer service is beyond excellent, especially Oudi the manager he is very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. I recommend this place to everyone who hasn't tried Pizza Press yet.
I've had Pizza Press a few times already and it's a HOME RUN every time! I get either the regular or the cauliflower crust when I'm feeling healthy and it is crispy and delicious every time! The topping variety is excellent. The staff is also very friendly and there is quick turn around considering its made to order pizza.
We've ordered online for pickup from Pizza Press DTSA a number of times. While it's exciting to have a "publish your own pizza" style place in the neighborhood, we end up disappointed and frustrated thus far. Each time we've ordered there have been numerous errors with toppings, crust types and pick up times. While the PP staff have always been very friendly and pleasant, they seem to be overwhelmed keeping the shop running smoothly. We wish we could depend on PP to get it right, but will probably hesitate to choose this option when seeking a delicious pie.
It was my first time there and the service was quick and easy. The staff was very kind. And best of all the food was amazing! I got two pizzas a build your own and a chicken one as well with wings. I was scared it would not taste good but it was fenomenal I ate my pizza without feeling guilty that I was eating unhealthy it was awesome coming back for sure! Parking might seem hard with all the construction around the area but once you find your way it will be easier to keep going.
True New York style pizza you can fold! Very delicious and enough to share with 2 people. Friendly staff and many options for drinks.
Go for the pizza and beer, stay for the board games. My kids play while we drink. Better than going to pizza place with an arcade.
Ordered ahead 20 min. When I arrive they haven’t started even. It was empty so only one employee was eating dinner at the table.
I have an awesome experience each time I go into Pizza Press. The owner is part of the community in DTSA, and I love that about her.
Also, the pizza and the rest of the menu is delicious, and I like that she has events going on during the week- DJ class on Monday, and Chess club on Wednesdays.
First time with my family at this location the staff was friendly and the food was good.the atmosphere was ok the restrooms were pretty nasty and the dining area needs to be cleaned make it look presentable for the customers.
If I could give ZERO stars, I would
Terrible service
Terrible atmosphere
A fly landed on my dough and I told the guy to make a new one and he seemed bothered
