The Pizza & Tamales Factory reviews
17The tamales are BOMB. I was not expecting them to be good tbh just because a pizza and tamale combination restaurant just sounds weird and I didn't think they could pull it off but the tamales honestly are waaayy better than most of the ones I've had from street vendors or people selling in parking lots. I was surprised! The pizza is really good too. This will be my go-to spot for tamales. The queso con rajas tamal is my favorite
This is hands down the best pizza, tacos and tamales I’ve had in a while and it’s super close to me. Not only is it conveniently close but they also have great prices and their customer service is unbelievable. Im honored to support local family owned business?
I really Love this place! The most legit tamales on this side of the border. During December nights in Balboa Park they were Our official vendors for the House of Mexico. So if you know.you know. Best tamales in town. They have chicken, pork beef and cheese and my favorite sweet tamales pineapple and strawberry. It's only for take out.
I love this place, I've been going to this very place for my pizzas and tamales all the time. Will be back soon
The service was good I think that the tamales could use less masa in & more meat/flavor, of course. Good spot overall. $3 each tamale. They gave us a free drink coupon too.
Pleasantly surprised! The pepperoni pizza was great! The Buffalo was good too! A bit too spicy for me to eat a whole pizza but 1 slice is perfect. The pork tamale was very big and tasted great!
Pizza was very good! Recommend waiting a few minutes before you eat it though. Unless you want the roof of your mouth burned
The Best Pizza & Tamales? In Town! Always Fresh!?
Delicious! I Can’t Get Enough! Best Customer Service ️️️️ The Owners & Employees Are Amazing! Thank You You Have To Try…
Check this place out! They make a mean pizza and their tamales are delicious as well. Very reasonably priced. $7.75 for a large pep!
Went here for the first after a long Monday absolutely made my day! The tamales were great the meat and salsa perfection. Tried a slice of the cheese which was also fresh and very well made per my husband and I who eat out a lot. Can't recommend this place enough will definitely be back.
Good place to try and not come back to for a couple of months nothing to go out of ur way for
The tamales are very good. I have not found any tamales better in San Diego. The chili Verde is my favorite. The people that work there are very nice. It is a little pricier than your typical tamales, but worth it.
If you like mushrooms on your pizza I don't suggest this as the place (canned mushrooms) I asked for Double pep and Double Mushrooms and I got it but I like fresh mushrooms. Second go around I got double pep and sausage and it was so so so so so good. The pizza dough and sauce are very tasty. Tamales are so-so. Too much Masa not enough filling. I'll go back again
Ordered online website. Arrived and woman at the register stated online orders get lost. My son orders from door dash no problem. Pizza is good.
Tamales were cheap and great! They're pretty chunky and filled well too, which is always a plus! I wish they came with salsa on the side (if they usually do, it wasn't included). Ordered and delivered to my house via DoorDash so I can't comment on service.
Stopped by here to pick up a snack, so I got 8 BBQ chicken wings for $6.99 plus tax, about $7.50. They were hot and meaty and killed my hunger pangs. Was my first visit here and I was quite pleased with their wings. Fast, polite service and I was on my way again. Restaurant was small but had a real good Italian pizza smell when I entered the store, so I took a chance on the wings. Besides the BBQ version, they had a buffalo sauce, but I don't know how those were. I'll stop by again if I'm in the area and hungry. Looks like a family business and not a chain restaurant. I think I'll try their philly cheese sub next time.
