The Point Patio Bar & Bistro reviews
16Cool spot to hang out and have a few drinks. Great atmosphere, variety of beers on tap, beer on bottle, wine and mixed drinks
Dingy menus
Friendly hostess
Waiting for 20 minutes at the table on a Saturday afternoon and no one says a word to take our order or offer us water, nothing. Unacceptably bad service.
Nice staff. Big outdoor area. Foods made fancier so if you just want ketchup and mustard may have some edits to the menue to get what you want. Food was good not omg or anything but solid.
Loud, happening place! Not the best for a quiet meal, but the food was bomb! They were even nice enough to accomodate us showing up early, and also moved us upon request. Much appreciated!
We have been twice and it is a great atmosphere with good food. I took one star off because they didn't have any of the beer my husband wanted and the waitresses had no idea what beer they had. And when I got my chicken sandwich it didn't have the cheese I asked for and had avocado that I didn't want. The sandwich was still good, so I had no problem eating it without complaining.
Overall it was good and I would go back.
This is the most racist establishment Ive ever in countered! They treat blacks especially dark skin blacks With a high level of social disregard and if you Point it out or correct it, they ask you to leave. The young white bartender with long Brown hair. Walked by me for 5 min. Only asking the White customers if they need anything else. Never making eye contact with me. Once someone else finally assisted me, she looked up and rolled her eyes at me so I flipped her a$$ off! Then she wants to use her tears as a weapon. Ohhh noww you wanna cry sweetheart? Watch yourself next time! Next time the next person might not be as kind. #DontTakeItBack. #WatchOut #FingerToTheFace
Good, but not GREAT food (except for the Brussels, really outstanding), they were out of 3-4 menu items and 2-3 kinds of beer, but the staff was great, friendly and helpful. Would absolutely eat there again.
Cool environment very nice place. We just so happened to get the slowest waiter on earth but the good food made up for it.
This was my 1st trip to this restaurant. I had heard so much about it. How. However it is as it's titled. There is a huge patio that makes the restaurant what it is. They provide shade and misters during the hot times. However, don't be fooled it's still outside. I attended a meeting and our group eating an argumented one of the patio areas. Their wine selection is really good andthe wings could be better. I definitely want to come back to try their brunch in the morning.
I never really write reviews but today was a joke. Got there at about 10: 50 am to get a booth for 3, server relayed to us the wait was 15 minutes. That's not too bad. Well roughly 50 minutes later we barely get seated and then another 15 minutes we don't get service. Unfortunately for a first time being here it was not a great experience. I'm not sure if they were understaffed or just lost this morning but overall experience was terrible.
We went here for drinks and brunch. It was good and the server was very nice. The staff knew a lot of the customers and it was obvious they were filling their friends drinks heavier than regular customers.
My first experience at this restaurant was horrible. Went out to brunch with my friend and ordered the California chicken burger. Ate 2 fries when I noticed their was a black long hair inside my chicken sandwich. I was gross out! I let the waitress know, he did not bothered to apologize. I asked him to please throw the plate of food where I could see him and get me a new plate! My plate took another 15min, when they finally brought my plate it had no fries ughh. I asked what happened to my fries. So I waited another 5min. With no apologies. The only reason I asked for a replacement is because I'm pregnant and I was starving. If not I would have walked out! I honestly thought they would give me a free meal or have a Manger come out and apologize for the inconvenience. But nothing was done!
Horrible service! Bartenders did nothing but talk to each other. It was not busy…. Neither of them acknowledged us to simply say they’d be with us in a minute. Never EVER going back! Worst service. If I could give no stars I would
Loved this place. We had 5 dishes and all had excellent flavor. Paired with paso Robles wine and it was my first meal since I arrived from oc, that I can say I truly enjoyed all around.
The Point has great customer service. Carolynn went above and beyond to make sure my party was happy; the food was great as well. My only gripe is that the food is expensive but worth it.
Great spot for brunch on the patio or dinner at the bar. Nice that they serve food later than most (12 hour shifters love that shiz) and I've never been disappointed in my meal.
