The Purple Room Supper Club reviews
24Had dinner for Christmas eve. Liked the decor. They had a pianist and drummer playing during dinner. Wish they had played more Christmas songs. Dinner was pre fixed. Decent selections. I started with the pumpkin soup. Was very good, the bacon added a nice flavor. My entree was the chicken. Was dry and overcooked. Cane with a apricot topping. A little too sweet. My girlfriend had the salmon. Said it was good. Finished with the pumpkin cheesecake. It was pretty good. Overall a nice evening.
Terrific lounge acts, delicious dining and bar service. This place makes a visit to Palm Springs complete. There's a little something for everyone.
Thanksgiving dinner, background music, great food and service. Best of all, no clean up. Will return to check out dinner shows!
The food was marvelous the servers were friendly and efficient and Michael Holmes was a wonderful host.
Perfect for a special occasion or date. Wonderful entertainment options. Great food, stellar service.
Surprisingly good food! And the show we watched was much better than we had expected. Really great place, we will definitely be coming back.
Loved the retro throwback to the sixties! The area and club gives off a cool vibe! The Judy Show was the best. Great music, singing, comedy, and even better improvisation and impersonations. The place was booked solid but my dear wife's timing was impeccable and she managed to take advantage of a cancellation. That put us up front center stage! Loved it darling!
Come ready to enjoy the very talented Judy and guests.but remember you're not in Kansas anymore.a night of classy fun Palm Springs style.
Looks like a old dive motel on the outside but it's a diamond in the rough! Exceeded expectations. Ask Woden for the best recommendations and town secrets
Wonderful dinner club. Food is excellent. Service was a bit slow but not bad. Entertainment, Rose Mallet was top-notch. Wonderful voice and was nice enough to take pictures with us after the show.
Intimate with a nod to its famous past, the Purple Room is a great go-to place to take out of town visitors or, as a local, just enjoy a night of music with a fun cocktail and delish meal. I'm a stalwort fan of the Judy Show (all of our guests have loved the show, including my mother in-law who giggled throughout) and have been loving their recently added Bourbon Excursions! They've made some good changes to the main dining area (moving the sound booth from sight lines) and adding screens to the back area where you can see the entertainment, but still carry on a conversation. They continue to host incredible entertainment and I cannot say enough about the chef who has fully embraced his promotion to the top spot. Not to be missed!
Very fun place! Location is somewhat hidden by the Big Saguaro hotel. Entrance is around back and inside the building. Happy Hour had started 45 minutes before we arrived and the place was already hopping. The main dinner stage area was totally reserved, but we were able to get a table bordering the bar and the dining area. Bar side very noisy.
Purple Room was celebrating 6th anniversary of new opening. In addition to regular menu, they offered Fixed Menu with delicious pairings. I opted for the purple pair salad with pecans and goat cheese as an opener. My entree was the herb, grilled pork loin which had a cooked apple chutney that was so delicious; meat was very tender. This was served with perfectly cooked, fresh green beans and roasted peanut potatoes.some also purple. The dessert was molten chocolate cake with ice cream and a glass of prosecco! All that, for $39, a big savings over the regular menu and a bargain for such a scrumptious feast!
The entertainment was a male / female singers, sometimes solo, sometimes duet, featuring songs by the Rat Pack. Voices blended well and they brought back lots of the old favorites and the feeling of a glamarous past. It was an enjoyable show.
The service was excellent from the host to the wait staff and bartender. I will go again!
We had a wonderful time at Purple. The food was delicious and hot. Our waiter was attentive and efficient. We stayed for the legends show. It was entertaining and fun. Highly recommend
Great music venue cum supper restaurant. Very Rat Pack vibe - not surprising as the Rat Pack used to frequent the club.
The food was decent, but not spectacular. They would be better served by serving the classics.
The soup of the day was a honeydew and cucumber gazpacho. And tasted of neither.
My first time there, food was great, service was great, entertainment was fantastic, and i will return!
Delicious food, generous adult beverages, nice cozy atmosphere, enjoyable entertainment. We enjoyed Wednesday night Rat Pack. Wish there was better parking though. Only street parking here. We will return!
The quesadilla was fantastic. The Fun house has a great vibe and the waitress Pouran was super nice! Everyone else seemed to enjoy their drinks and the music was super good. There was also a good amount of seating for a bar inMI can't wait to come again!
We enjoy a visit here each time we are in The Palm Springs area. Menu is adequate and there's always some good jazz music.
Came to see the Amy Winehouse experience. So amazing! Loved the purple room. Great bar food and the entertainment was fantastic. Nice fun place.
Went with my friend and co worker Thia and had a great time. The stuffed mushroom appetizers were fantastic. The cocktail shrimp were incredibly Huge and the waiter was Great since he recommended the appetizers. The Magaritas were cool too. Went on a Tuesday at 4-6 is the Happy Hour with Live entertainment. Small but quaint go there with a girl friend or a spouse not good for large groups.
