Wow just like stepping back in time! My wife and I had a wonderfull time staying and exploring aboard the QM. It's defanatly a once in a lifetime expierience. Be mindful that you are staying in a piece of history so manage your expectations accordingly.the exhibts and tours and worth checking out, as well as chelsea chowder house. I do not recomend walking arround past 2am on the ship, it gets a bit spooky.

They warn you that the cabin room walls are thin, but not how thin. We could hear every word. The ship is a marvel and well worth exploring. However, many points of interest are hard to find even with a map. Poor and/or no signage. Costs of some restaurant and market food not signed either.

Just had the pleasure of participating in the paranormal ship walk tour and was pleased with the service, the knowledge and the hospitality for our tour guide Max, will definitely be returning soon to reserve a hotel room next time.

The history of the ship is really neat. It is a growth place to visit. However, my room was not worth the price. It had plenty of room and well kept but they were not able to controll the temperature. My room was boiling and I am sensitive to heat so I did not get much rest. Despite that I would encourage people to visit the ship as a museum and help support the historical value of the ship. The staff were great and brought fans ti help cool down the room. The bar was also fun to hang out at on the ship. There was live music and the drinks were great. The ships restaurants were all booked which forced me to have to off site to eat. I would recommend having a restaurant guaranteed spot for hotel guests.

The Steam and Steel tour is a complete waste of time and money. The tour is essentially a walk through of an area that is otherwise open to the public and the "tour" involves sharing information that is otherwise available. The tour guide didn't ask for questions or engage the audience, and lacked any personality. Customer service didn't apologize or offer any kind of refund either. I recommend not giving this cold company any money and just exploring the boat on your own.

I had a great experience with my daughters and my husband. We did the haunted tour and our guide was very nice and shared wonderful stories about the Queen Mary. The ship is absolutely beautiful although it gives a creepy vibes it’s still beautiful to see. I took lots of pictures just in case and sure enough going back through the pictures at home I’d notice some strange reflections and orbs. Pretty cool and scary! Definitely will be scheduling another tour soon.

Stayed here before our cruise. If it's a bucket list thing cool, if not, I would stay else where. Everything is a money grab. The breakfast was $30/person. And was basically eggs. The sodas were $7 each in the bar and flat. There is nothing within walking distance so you are at their mercy.

The bedroom has a nice old smell, but rather than feeling old, it is really well maintained. It is spacious and there is a tour guide.

The Sunday brunch is a joke. It's over 200 for two people which could be ok if the food was good. The band inside was talented enough, just loud. Food tasted stale. Im paying for the experience, but I expected quality food along with it. Disappointed.

Very meat hotel, just expected small beds. Some areas were blocked off although said available. Great history

The Glory Days tour is well worth the visit. The ambiance is as lovely as ever on the Queen. Major efforts are being made to bring her back to life. The observation bar opens at 4: 00 for beautiful sunsets, and both open restaurants also offer a great view of the harbor. A nice getaway.

We recently completed a voyage from New York to Southampton, and despite encountering a few days of turbulent weather with high waves, my wife's concerns about the Atlantic's rough conditions were alleviated. Fortunately, the ship's stabilizers effectively minimized the rocking motion, and we were able to navigate the journey without the need for the motion sickness aids and medication we had brought on board.
The ship, despite its iconic status, exhibited a noticeable vintage charm during our voyage. Overall, the vessel was well-maintained, with the majority of areas reflecting a high standard of cleanliness. However, we found one aspect to be unacceptable – the accumulation of grime on the edge tiles in the spa pool area. Addressing this issue would be a straightforward maintenance task, requiring just a brief 10-minute cleaning routine each evening to ensure a consistently pristine environment around the pool.
The passengers aboard the Queen Mary presented a distinctive contrast to those on other cruise lines we've experienced, such as Disney, Royal Caribbean, Princess, MSC, and more. Notably, individuals on the Queen Mary seemed notably more approachable and open to interacting with strangers, creating a refreshing and welcoming atmosphere during our voyage.
We will be looking forward to our next Cunard Cruise in the very near future.

We absolutely loved it. After spending a night at this hotel, we spent the day exploring the ship and dining in their restaurants. It was an awesome 24 hours filled with fun activities. I highly recommend it.

I had a lovely time, so much History and the supense of seeing a ghost or something made it even better since it is in the top ten Haunted Places in America. Rooms are ok, Food is Great, Service is Good, This has a lot to offer

We had a good experience staying here!

We knew it was an older ship - so all of the ‘amenities’ were to be expected, but it the rooms were clean and comfortable.

However - we did go on the ‘paranormal ship tour’ and it was a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.

We did it back in the early 2000’s and it was amazing, but our tour guide basically started the tour with ‘none of the stories you have heard are true’ (which is odd because stories we heard were FROM previous tour guides), and the rest of the tour was essentially a history lesson.

I wish there was a way to get our money back as it was quite expensive for Canada. Would absolutely not recommend staying here FOR that tour.
