Came here with some friends after much deliberation on where to go to glided Nashville style chicken with bone. One of my friends got a chicken sandwich which was ok (not hot in temp), my other friend got an order of leg and thigh which was the last one that came out cold so we returned for tenders that were hot. I wanted the wings but they were out so I had no choice but to settle for the tenders (tasted like they were re heated and not fresh). Food was filling. My buddies got the spark level of heat and it was enjoyable. I got the bonafide spice level which wasn't hot at first but gets you later. Ranch and coleslaw are items to pass on. Potato wedges are tasty but nothing amazing. Overall the food isn't bad just needs better management cause they have a good product just needs to made fresh and given out hot. Parking is not provided which can be very annoying. Food is a bit pricey. Staff is nice. They have an area where you can help yourself to utensils, napkins, ketchup and their special sauce (spicy mayo that has a yummy sweet flavor to it). 3.5 rounded down due to too many things going wrong here from not hanging wings, leg or thigh and cold food that isn't fresh. I was hoping to find a go-to bone in Nashville style spot but this isn't it.

If you like Nashville style hot hot chicken, you have to try this place! Under the you-name-the-level-of-heat for the spices on the skin, the chicken meat was so tender and moist. Worth finding this place in Downtown LA!

Don’t want to wait 2 hours for Howlin’? Neither do I. Red chickz delivers a mouth watering sandwich with all the spicy levels you want. The taste is superb & it holds it own in flavor town, you get fries with the combo no drink. & they have these like fried chicken potato wedge fries that if your hungry is a must. I usually get the chicken sandwich combo with wedges, oh did I mention the sauces? ! They have this thousand island style sauce for the wedges, In short: it’s bomb & different.
They have this spice level challenge where if you get the Off-the-Menu spiciness. It’s two tenders with no water for ten minutes, if I remember correctly. I’ve already ate at that level numerous times but never have done the challenge. I wouldn’t recommend it if your not use to it. They also said nobody orders that level & many don’t even know there’s a challenge. I guess I need to go back.
