The Rio Nido Lodge, Guerneville CA

Kudos to the new owners, Cherie and Theo? They've done such an extraordinary job bringing this hidden gem back to life in the little hamlet of Rio Nido.

New owners redid the whole lodge about a year and a half ago and they did an absolutely beautiful job on the property. Lovely staff, and great menu that always has something vegetarian and vegan on it so everyone can enjoy!

Loved my stay at Rio Nido Lodge with the new owners Cherie and Theo. Room was well decorated, loved the private hot tub, and the food at the Lodge (got the brisket with potatoes) was so satisfying.

Stopped in for breakfast on a lazy Friday morning. Super friendly staff, DELICIOUS bagel, sweet ambiance, good music. Especially if you live up the canyon, come on by for breakfast.

My daughter booked this place. Adorable but the service is less then helpful. We thought our room code did not work so I went to ask about it. Seemed like I was bothering them. Even the employee had a little hard time with it, then got the door open and said the door swells with the warm weather. Like we knew that.
Our fire pit was not hooked up as the hose line to the propane was completely off-I didn't want to mess with that.
The room is adorable, the beautiful redwood trees right there and the hot tub was inviting (we had a long day and it felt great!). Overall it was a nice place.

The Rio Nido Lodge is magnificent in every way! Gorgeous decorating and furnishings. Staff is friendly and professional and attentive. Food is out of this world. Especially loved the quiche from a local French Bakery for Mother's Day brunch
