I expected a little more than what I got.
The location, facilities and drive were amazing, what you'd expect from a luxury brand.
Not many food options for vegetarians.

If you stay there, don't forget to be around for walking or biking the coastal trail, sunset etc.it's amazing. Bagpiper music adds to that.

What erked me the most, was little things. Phones in the room didn't work, with loose connections. So I had to go to toilet to make a call. The plug sockets were very loose. No USB charging options. TV was very old. Room slippers were men's 7 size.

Everything about this place is consistently amazing! Beautiful facility, clean and safe, and excellent attentive service. Ocean views are amazing! Definitely take time to sit outside by the fire.
My only feedback is that $45 to park the car during lunch was very steep. I expect high prices for great service, but this is beyond.
That said, we will be back, hopefully often.

Great location and views but if catering the event right here - Horrible food - cold and stale!

What a stunning location and hotel. This is what we expect from a Ritz-Carlton. We had an amazing time walking around the property which includes a beautiful golf course! Having a room with an outdoor gas fireplace is what you really want.

I know you pay alot to stay here but you will not be treated better. I w9rked with the banquet staff for two days and have worked banquets myself and this was easily the best banquet staff I've ever experienced. Patricia, the manager, is on top of the finest detail, yet helps out even with the basic things. She leads by example and her staff is A+ #1. The view of the Pacific from the hotel cannot be accurately be explained in words. Spoil yourself. Stay here. It's quiet, cool, sunny, clean, safe, and you'll never want to leave. You deserve this.

A very lavish place to celebrate the evening by the side of ocean. Every thing was so perfect & beautiful.

Friendly staff, nice ocean view. Golf course right outside the window so youll see some golfers.we enjoyed the random man playing a bagpipe and also the beach walk with mysterious pillars area.restaurant was pretty good as well.overall a nice little.stay to get a little foggy in the evening but par for the course in the bay

Best hotel I've ever stayed in, with unbeatable views of the ocean and the famous golf course. However, room service and breakfast were terrible. Cannot believe we paid $34 for 6 prawns, nor that the expensive crab benedict was salty but otherwise flavorless.

Unfortunately due to the recent Covid requirements over the last year they are still not serving afternoon tea here - however you can get a nice pot of tea and some pastry or mini croissants and take in the views. The walk around the grounds are worth it, the views across the bay are stunning and the setting is one that is ideal for singletons who like some peace and quiet, romantic couples who want to seal a memory or an older person wanting to have a sedate walk.
I would advise against the valet parking - at $40 on the weekend and $20 midweek, it adds quite a bit to the total cost
Overall, a lovely place to pop by for a cocktail, coffee, tea, lunch or dinner or sit outside where the fire pits are - they used to supply blankets, again Covid has changed that, so in the winter, bring your own.

I am completely blown away at how pretty this place is. The coastal view room is even better than the ocean view. The service here is next level. Valet parking, glass of wine at check in, phenomenal service outside by the lawn. The entire experience is worth every dime you spend on it.

I’m tiny bit disappointed because when we used to drive in, the gate person would know from our license plate that we have been there and usually say “Welcome back, Ms. <lastname_here>” and that didn’t happen. Super minor but was a nice touch that we usually look forward to. Anyway!
If you have a Disabled Vehicle tag, valet parking IS FREE! That’s a $45 savings. My 80-year-old mom has her DV tag with her. And yes, we have always valet parked. I have never tried NOT to valet park here and I don’t think it’s an option. I have never seen anyone self parked.
From the phone reservations, to the many back and forth changes to our reservations (i.e. Booked dinner then switched to Saturday Brunch, changing guest numbers, Mom’s 80th birthday…etc.) to our arrival and being seated on our table, we had a wonderful experience. There was one gentleman on the phone who was a little rough and not Ritz-Carlton-y level enough on his responses but he was nice. Just rough around the edges.
We were seated promptly at Navio. My family and I have done the Weekend Brunch here a few times before but all pre-pandemic. This is our first time back post-pandemic and it was perfect for our Mom! It was a sit-down All-You-Can-Eat fine-dining level cuisine in this beautiful hotel with the breath taking views and outstanding service. Although, I am sad to say that I don’t think my mom paid attention to the views at all. She just had a wonderful time with the family at the table and enjoying all her food choices.
It was the perfect balance of elegance yet we were allowed to enjoy each other’s company with great jokes, conversations, and best of all - interaction with the Navio staff! Everyone was very professional, prompt, attentive, accommodating and kind. We really felt welcomed and served very well.
Our main waiter explained how the brunch will go. We were allotted 2-hour dining time. He said 1.5 hours will be for all the brunch items where we can pick 2 at a time so they can be freshly prepared in their gleaming open kitchen. At which point he will circle back frequently to get the next 2 orders on the menu for the rest of the 1.5 hours. We never felt constrained. With my mom and aunt who are both in their 80s having to do several bathroom breaks in the process. The staff made sure we were went to the toilet most convenient for our seniors. In the end, we enjoyed our almost 3-hour stay at Navio.
The food was okay. I won’t sugar coat it. It definitely DOES NOT rival any Michelin-stared restaurant for taste. Flavor is a little lack luster but it is there. But plating, presentation and service are all on point. Maybe the Chef du Cuisine just needs a little wake up call (but he’s not far if he is willing to try). We will have to try their dinner to see if it’s the All-You-Can-Eat element that affects his flavors.
Overall, mission accomplished for me and my siblings. To treat our mom like a Queen on her 80th birthday. And the staff at Navio did all the heavy lifting for us.
Until next time… I hope I get back the nice greeting of “Welcome back, Ms. <your_lastname_here>! ” on our next visit. Is it wishful thinking? <wink>

I always like to visit here with the breeze and to enjoy the open public beach. Luxury but worthy.

Far below the standard of The Ritz-Carlton Hotels.
Honestly I was surprised with the quality of the room and the preparation.
I don't recommend this hotel at all.although the advertisement was attractive but reality is totally different.
My judgment is based on my previous stay in the Ritz-Carlton hotels in other parts of the world and the standard of the even 4 stars hotel.
Very disappointed and will checkout today although I was planning to spend few more days for relaxing.
