The Roy is an excellent place to live! Quasandra and the rest of the team are so responsive and kind. The views from the sky lounge and our unit are absolutely gorgeous. The appliances work great, packages are so easy to receive. When moving in, the maintenance team helped us with our shipped cars/packages that arrived before we did. They are here to answer any of our questions and always help us find the quickest solution. There are no complaints from me.

Ever since our tour, Quasandra and the rest of The Roy's team has been nothing but wonderful and helpful in every sense of the word. A cross country move is never easy, but the team at the Roy has made moving in a breeze. I could see myself staying here a long time. The amenities and units are absolutely fantastic.

I signed a lease last year without touring the place and came all the way from NYC because of the raving reviews about the apartment and the management team, and luckily, I was not disappointed. I called Quasandra the moment I decided on The Roy and she was so helpful from the very beginning. After that call, it just felt right and I submitted my application. By the next day, I signed my lease.

Apt 504 has high ceilings, breathtaking views of the mountains, Hollywood sign, DTLA, and incredible sunsets. Anytime I needed anything fixed, Lee, the maintenance manager, was there to help. I had no issues during my stay here. Sadly I didn't end up signing for another year due to needing a bit more space but I wanted to sign another year simply because of Quasandra and Lee! They're so amazing, I loved seeing them around the building, they're always just happy to be there and I love their positive energy!

Friendly staff and excellent management. The people here are so amazing. A big shoutout to Lena, as she’s professional and extremely helpful to all the residents. Keep up the good work!

You do need to make about 12,000 a month to live here because a 1 bedroom is $3,500, and they want you to make about 3 times that to move in-ergo, 12,000 a month. Who makes that? And if you do make that, move to Brentwood or Beverly hills, not Palms! I've lived in this area since 1973. It's always been nice, and affordable. Not anymore. I got a note from their management after writing this, and no, Mr.or Ms.manager, your prices are not competitive, they are outrageous.
Original post-
"The Roy". I'm not rich. But I can tell you that the freaking lobby is pretentiously bigger than my apt nearby, and it was super obnoxious having to listen to these creeps building this behemoth for 6 months. But guess what? The Roy is no longer the bright, shiny new baby it once was-there are 2 new buildings being built, as I type, right next to it. The Roy is waaay too expensive for this neighborhood. It was built for Google employees who moved in about a ten min drive away in the previous westside pavilion mall- and I can see why, because they are the only ones who could afford this racist Shangri la smack dab in the middle of a middle class neighborhood with middle-class, multi racial folks. You make $12,000 a month? Have at it. If you want to mix in with us "regular people", move across the street, lol. But please, if you can afford $3000 a month for rent, go somewhere else to live! It's just wrong that's it's right next to regularly priced apts, in a regularly priced neighborhood, and we have to watch these smug sob's with their noses in the air come and go all day, cutting illegally across 2 lanes to turn into their underground garage. Yeah, I'm a little ticked off about it. Oh and there are bugs. If they're not there yet, they will be.
To The Roy Mngmnt-you say you're kind? - lower your 1 bed to $1500, and give us normal people a chance to live in something new for a change.

Lived here for work and it was a nice place to live. Maintenance fixed things immediately. Quasandra was great.

Been here 6 months and just signed on for another year. Everything from the location to maintenance, quality of the building/apartments and management are a big win. Quassandra and Irma are excellent and work with residents to make sure the living experience is up to par with the spend. Well worth it to live in a safe area that's kept up with. I've searched all over LA and definitely recommend this place.
