The Salvation Army Canoga Adult Rehabilitation Center and Thrift Store reviews
13Rehabilitation center uses recoverers like slave labor and provides minimal support to actually getting them self-sustaining
I want to make a donation but they won’t provide a receipt. Next time I’ll just go to Goodwill.
Great place to bring all that stuff you no longer need. I get all my luggage here as well. The luggage looks worn so no one will want to steal it.
I really like their store better than Goodwill. Their prices reflect gently used, where as the other store is competing with brand new pricings. Sometimes even higher prices. The area is pretty mixed as far as classes so you find some special treasures every now and then, each time is a new adventure.
Got to this store at 7: 42pm & they closed almost 20 minutes before the actual closing time & this worker in the photo rudely said to EVERYONE trying to get in, "because they have a life" & refused to let anyone in. Time stamped photos! The worst experience ever had at a Salvation Army "Family" Store. I expect this to be addressed, corrected & this worker to apologize!
This place saved my life and got me off a 20 year addiction THANK GOD FOR SALVATION ARMY! THANKS COREY, HENRY, VICTOR.
This store is organized and has helpful staff. The prices are great and the sales are awesome. Something unique can be found everytime you visit.
"DO GOOD" Please shop here!

They help heal broken families through Jesus Christ!

Never visiting again. The Hispanic store manager is rude to everyone. I observed her for a while because a few of my friends have said she is the worse and I did notice that she was rude to everybody she spoke with. She also favors men, what the hell is that about? I saw some facebook posts to back this up. Either she gets fired or learns how to be polite. Today she brought up the fact that my mom asks to take things off her buy list at the cash register. My mothers' reasons for doing so should not concern her and I don't see it as a problem if she has not paid yet. Managet needs to learn her place.
The Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Great quality on clothing and merchandise. The process are Fantastic and they have great deals within the month.
Nice neat store, inventory moves fast and quite a few good deals, but you better know what to look for with electronics etc. Staff is helpful.
Poor attitude of support staff; refused to honor in-store advertised holiday discounts because the location ran out of coupons.in this day and age of e-coupons and promotion codes, their policies are embarrassingly antiquated.just another reason why I support Salvation Army with decreasing frequency.
Great selection of clothing, home goods, furniture and knickknacks. One of the employees helped us try to fit a dresser in our car. When it wouldn't fit, he went and found rope to help us tie it to the racks on top of the roof. Super helpful!
Clothing sizes aren't always in the right sections but you have to dig anyway so have fun with it!
Overall an organized and clean store.:)
