So many items, very low prices and discounts on Saturday and if you donate.
Its a very good thrift store if you have a good eye

They have a really dope variety of women's clothing and shoes. I was actually pleasantly surprised at the many different cool tank tops and athletic leggings which is my go to outfit almost daily at some point. It's cool that they organize the clothes entirely by color but this is also a bit frustrating when trying to find the right size. Another thing i found a bit overwhelmed by was the way the employees kinda just shut the lights off mid browse when it's closer to closing time. I mean, 15 minutes left until closing and i should be able to comfortably utilize at the very least a solid 10 before i get corralled into a mishmash of a line. But none of that is really a big deal. Just a heads up for the rest of the shoppers to be. Otherwise my experience here was positively satisfying

The sales staff is extremely rudeI. I t was as if they wanted me not to make a purchase, They wouldn’t tell me prices although 80% of houseware goods were not priced. They acted like they hated working!

Just moved into a new apartment and found everything I need from kitchen ware to bed linens.

It was fine, came to get some work clothes but I couldn't find any that fit me, they were all too small or too big. My girlfriend did find some for herself though so fantastic. We found two items we really like but one of them was really dirty still (it was a very nice sweater). The other item was a picnic basket and it was fantastic, I love it. But other all it was mainly fill with women clothes of multiple sizes.

Very courteous staff, clean, well-organized and a very generous selection. But, I would be remiss if I didn't disclose my affinity for the Blood and Fire.

Mostly clothing with a smattering of bric a brac. Got lucky and found some nice Bluetooth computer speakers.parking can be difficult since its in the densely populated oakland Chinatown.

Clean, organized, depending the day. They are fresh new arrival things. It is in the edge of Chinatown

They Ripped us Off

Took our money and the table—
wouldn’t give us store credit when we realized the table was too big for our car. We never even got the table out of the store, but they wouldn’t even let us try to see, if we could take the table top apart (which was completely doable since it was an expandable table) The so-called manager, of this-so-called charity wouldn’t even give my elderly mother store credit for the table we had just paid for…

PLEASE DO NOT BRING DONATIONS HERE. They treat everyone like trash, no dignity or compassion here.

Find some dope ish like 3 out of ten times i visit wich i think is pretty good for a thrift store especially one in down town OAKLAND

A very wholesome experience to see to the happiness of people buying used/donated items. There appeared to be a joyfulness in their souls.

The Adult Rehabilitation Center at Salvation Army helps men suffering from addiction and alcoholism learn to overcome thier disease and live healthy, productive lives. I have personally witnessed the miracles that occur here and it is wonderful and beautiful, thank you Salvation Army for all that you do. Every life matters.

Lots to choose from but they don't have a return policy of any kind. If you buy it and it doesn't work for you for whatever reason oh well too bad you lose! I can not spend my money here when they don't appreciate their customers enough to have some sort of return policy! All that I hear this place saying is "Me, Me, Meeee! I don't mind spending when I know if something doesn't work out I can take it back for a fair exchange.

I've Been there many times and never once smelled urine, the atmosphere is very pleasant the same with every employee I have encountered.

Come early for Donation drop off. If not prepare to wait.

The cashier lady on Friday morning was very rude not helpful at all she over charge my items. Need more people to keep clean and organize.

You can find just about anything at the salvation army. I been going there with my parents and grandparents since I was a little kid and even now as an adult it's a very special place.

It's a thrift store. Some of the previous reviews have been harsh. Please be nice to the staff, I'm sure your kindness will be appreciated.

To expensive and no parking. Thrift stores are meant to be for deals! $14.99 for a used nightgown? I can get a new one for $10 at Ross‍️
