THE SANDWICH SPOT, Redwood City CA

This is the best sandwich in the peninsula. All the employees are friendly and the owner really cares and takes pride in what he does. Has a full bar and hookah too. If you've never been here you need to check it out.

Today July 31/2021 I'm here at the sandwich spot and the cashier is so rude. I just pick up an order because send me ma text the order is ready that's and wasn't ready and answer me rude

Great place to grab a quick bite. Food is ready quick and fairly priced. Been twice to this place and will go again. Great location just outside of Redwood City Caltrain station!

A good sandwich. Maybe too many combos to chose from. Come prepared to order or you'll stare a bit long

We went there as a group and it was just chaotic. There were no signs, nobody to direct us what we're supposed to do after ordering, where to order, where we're supposed to sit. The tables and chairs were dirty. The sandwiches were eh? And expensive (to say the least). The experience left us with an alright feeling. We now know where not to go.

I loved it. I saw a hookah bar and booze bar on the right side and the sandwich area was on the left. I had a Reuben and man it was good! It just smells good when you walk in. Thanks guys.

Super tasty. Just moved nearby and before trying all the other places, I’ve gone back twice.

One BIG issue. Their hookah is very popular.but, in a pandemic? I’m not clear how actively blowing big plumes of virus is a good idea. Research says this virus is transmittable specifically from hookah. With that many people packed around, outside&6feet isn’t safe. With the trees and no uv at night, it’s one big perfumed cloud of risk.

Sandwiches were ok. They looked better than they tasted. I ordered 4 different Sandwiches and 3 of them tasted almost the same. Not worth the price to me. Great customer service though.

No better sandwiches in RWC. Good people, friendly service, been going here for years amd never had a bad meal or left without being satisfied.

Love this place. When I lived in Redwood City, I would go often. I live far now, but will still make special trips to visit the Sandwich Spot. The staff is so kind, the sandwiches are great, the beer selection is great. They have a really nice outdoor patio area and I often would invite friends to sit for hours. This is one of my favorite spots in the Bay.

Sandwich is ok. Didn't know it's a hookah lounge. Are all Sandwitch Spot hookah lounge? They should let us know. Sandwich spot and hookah lounge so I wouldn't bring my kids here. Last time I'll go to a Sandwitch Spot.

Decent sandwiches. If you sit outside, expect people blowing hookah smoke all around you. Better than cigarettes, so I do not complain.

Went there yesterday and had a great time talking with the owner Handsome and friendly guy. I hoph he opens up a place in Hayward.

Really fresh sandwiches, huge selection of beers, and, for those who are into it, huge outdoor hookah lounge with a friendly staff. It's a perfect spot for an evening hangout with friends.

Best place to get tri-tip on Wednesday’s! David and his crew are super nice and the food is even better. Tons of options, too.

My sandwich was good, but the atmosphere is not even close to what it was last time I was in. Seems like new owners. The last guy was outstanding! This time seemed like 10 chiefs & no indians.

Love this place. My favorite sandwich is the bumgartner, I swap the panic sauce for lava sauce. It can get crowded but it's worth it. They sell beer. Weirdly, the place turns into a bar / hookah lounge at night. The decor is cool

Favorite place to go in redwood city, open till 1am good sandwiches and beer selection. Added plus is the hookah and music. Great atmosphere.
