Leia is your girl! She listen to my concerns, advised accordingly and gave me an awesome hair cut. My curls are back, and I love my hair a bit more today. I will come back for more!

Turn and burn haircut service. No attention to detail or how the client feels. Left covered in hair, and unstyled. She didn’t ask how I felt about haircut, nor showed me back of head view.

Cut off way more than I asked, even after she confirmed the length with me. Not sure if I got a stylist just out of college- but I will not be going back here.

I was offered a wet napkin to “clean up” any loose hair on my way out. Never was I asked how things were. The receptionists were too concerned with their conversation when I came up, my stylist had to ring me up.

I’m honestly not sure how this place has the reviews they have.

I have been going here since they first opened. This is the only place I will go to get my hair done. All of the stylists are super talented and knowledgeable in everything hair related. My stylist is Eleni and she is amazing! She always finds the perfect color for my hair and I never have to tell her how I want my hair cut. It is literally perfect every time which makes for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. She is the only one who has cut my 5 year olds hair and she is amazing. I make the drive all the way from Fairfield just to get our haircuts here. Highly recommend!

The workers here are so kind and real. They've done a wonderful job on a difficult hair style for me. I highly recommend Michael and 2 others, I'm sorry I can't remember thier names. Thank you to everyone there.

It's one of the best spots in Sonoma County. It's been years since I have gone anywhere else. There is not a stylist here that has given me a bad haircut. However, Belinda is absolutely amazing and is someone I request to cut my hair whenever possible!

I’ve been coming here for about 3 years. I mainly get my hair done from Belinda but have also been seen by Jenny and Jenna. Belinda has been a consistently wonderful, caring barber. The staff is very friendly and professional. I love getting my haircuts here and even travel from Novato to be seen here. I am thankful for the team here and I plan for many more cuts from Belinda and the friends at the shop for years to come!

Got a great haircut and came back for hi-lites. Both hairdressers did a great job and were super friendly.

So first off I have been going here off and on since 2013 when The Shop was small and didn't include the addition. I have read the reviews recently and I understand that the prices have gone up. It happens. It's called massive inflation and the cost of running a business in California. One of the most expensive states to live in. It sucks, alot. I wish it still was 27 bucks for a hair cut like 2013 but alas.
I also understand that they get extremely busy on the weekends. I tried to get an appointment three weeks ago and they could not get me in. I tried today and after being persistent I was able to get in, with the service I was hoping for, a cut and highlights.
Today Heidi was my stylists and she did an amazing job on my hair. I am obsessed. She didn't even ask me if I wanted layers, she knew somehow that I wasn't into that and just went for a straight cut? My highlights came out just the way I wanted. Definitely worth the wait and for the same service I wanted it would of been upward of 300 dollars but it wasnt. Thank you Heidi. ️

Been coming here for years and have enjoyed my experience and hair cuts. Although Ive been to many stylists at The Shop, my recent two have been with Lea and Carly. Really appreciated their energy and openess, and their fluidity with my hair style.

Used to like this place. Just isn’t worth it anymore. Pricey for a standard haircut as is, and last time I was in I had to remind the lady a few times of how I wanted my hair cut. Was a sloppy cut. On top of that, customer service has dropped off a lot. They get busy, so you have to call in right after opening if you want a haircut in the afternoon. Used to be able to call in after opening, say what time I got off work, and could get something scheduled later in the day so long as there was an opening. Did the same today, was only offered a slot at the time I get off. Explained to the lady that I can’t be somewhere the exact moment I get off work, asked for 15-30 min later. Was flatly told they don’t want to “overbook. ” They asked for my number in case something came open earlier (?) Was baffled, and re-explained that I work until a certain time, and just want to see if I can schedule anything for a little later. That got the lady irate, she flatly and shortly said again they won’t book out the afternoon (even though it has never been a problem for me before… so long as there was an open slot I could get it). Told her that wouldn’t work, and got told “okay, we’ll bye then. ” No joke! Overall, the quality is slipping, and the customer service is getting pretty bad. Not worth having to jump through so many hoops to give someone my business. Giving a second star because I have had decent haircuts there before. Just not in a long time. I guess it’s “okay, well bye then” to the shop

Ask for Michael! He is the BEST stylist & excellent hair cuts on the West Coast! Truth!

I asked for a pixie mullet/fauxhawk on my already short hair, was given a 15-minute haircut that used one pair of scissors and some clippers, and they charged me $50 because mullets were the same price as a cut on long hair. Felt like a ripoff and the finished product looked very little like the ref photo. Won’t go again.

Kind and friendly staff. Knowledgeable hair stylists that are not intimidating if you are uncertain on what direction you want to take your hair. Will be going back

This was the worst haircut I've had since super cuts. Asked for a fade and trim up top, a classic gentleman's cut. Super straight forward. Instead I got this (see photo below). I immediately had to find a new barber/stylist to fix what was done. Needless to say I am never going there again.

If you get Gineé, you’re in good hands, straight up leveled up my hair game. In and out in less than 30 minutes and came out looking very fresh and ready for my summer vacation. I was recommended to go here by my last barber and this receding hairline couldn’t be happier. Btw, if your in SF and can’t go to The Shop here in Petaluma, go to the Public by the tenderloin, amazing group as well. Thanks Gineé.

Even though my stylist is no long here, I still feel it's the best cut in town for men.
