The Siren, Morro Bay CA

I’m an out of towner to the area, came here to unwind a bit before Christmas. Clean and peaceful environment. Asked the bartender for a specific shot (lick my chile) gave him the ingredients and he got it so perfect. Great place will def be back.

It was decent. A nice place 5sit and chill if you're into the bar scene. Not too dark of an environment fun even. Pool table, an outdoor fire pit that was actually open, other games are also available outside. Dance floor for when there are shows. It's one of our favorite places.

The bartenders are great, good atmosphere, and they have corndog bites. The tacos were good, too, but they got me with those corn dog bites. I haven't had a corndog in years, and I have never had cordog bites and they are fun when you are tipsy. The back patio is cute with a little outdoor fireplace. We loved our drinks.

This place would have 5 stars if not for the seating. Disabled people like music too. At one point I saw an employee come get a friend from the line to go in early. The friend was nice and said, "Thanks man. " Meanwhile my father couldn't get anything but a stool. It was so incredibly hard for him to climb up on it. He hates going out b/c he worries about losing more dignity, embarrassment and causing a fuss. I talked him into it. The first time in 4 years he's gone. We all enjoyed the show. We had to leave early though bc my Father couldn't handle the pain any more. I am also handicap and it was very uncomfortable. I find it unbelievable that my 76 yr old father had to sit in the most uncomfortable way possible while being jostled by the dance floor. Why are there able bodied people getting seats with backs? It broke my heart watching my Dad trying to act like everything was ok. Even sitting where we were we couldn't see the band so why not have the option to get a chair with a back to it?

* Got a reply from the Siren saying they never thought they'd get a negative review for bringing in a big act. They also claim to be compliant with ADA regulations. Seems dicey to be lying when there were so many people witnessing the struggle and pain of two handicap people and someone brought along to help if there was a fall. I myself spoke to a woman, and a man, at the door as well as multiple people in line. You do NOT follow ADA regulations. Not one person had an answer when I asked. The audacity of the employees who wrote the response is a testament to the lackadaisical and outright rude attitudes of staff. *Patrons who helped my Father, thank you. He was very embarrassed but you made it easy for him. Guy in a straw hat and tall blonde guy. You 2 especially. Of course we enjoyed the music as well.

Our most favorite local spot for cold beer, yummy food and good mellow vibes. The entire staff is amazing!

Great shows, great owners, great food. The Siren brings incredible music to the coast. A gem in Morro Bay.

A really cool spot where the bartenders are super attentive, the food tastes good and there's plenty of TV's to watch all the sports you can want. The patrons here are also really friendly and makes for a good time.

Good drinks & music.
Food so-so.
Steak bites very tough & almost uneditable. Fried pickles too large & over brined.
Cheese bites good & burgers are good.

Amazing place, great food, great environment and best of all, some of the best shows I’ve ever been to! Thank you to all the great staff for making this place awesome!

As german guest me and my gf found this to be a „typical“ american bar in the best way. Good drinks, awesome live music and lovely people. 5/5 - would come back any time.

We arrived in town late on a Sunday after most places to eat were already closed. The Siren not only served food, but both the Ahi Nachos and the Brussel Sprouts were excellent. The menu has a lot of variety including a delicious sounding grilled cheese with fig. My SO absolutely loved their ginger old fashioned. The staff was warm and they had a good band playing live music. I wouldn't hesitate to bring friends here.

Wenn in Morro Bay/ Pacific Coast Highway unterwegs, dann darf kein Weg an The Siren vorbeiführen. Authentische Location, riesige Auswahl an Drinks und sehr gutes Essen. Das alles zu fairen Preisen und mir super freundlichem Personal. Absolut einen Besuch wert. Wer interessiert in US-Sport ist, kommt hier definitiv auf seine Kosten. Leider haben wir keine Live-Musik sehen können, aber wenn man mit anderen Gästen spricht, dann ist dies auch etwas was man hier unbedingt erlebt haben muss!

They have a lot of music going on there and sometimes they get some fairly decent names going through there. It's not the old Happy Jack's anymore it's definitely more yuppieish I guess you could say. But alcohol is alcohol and music's music.

Great music, friendly staff, nice vibe, and very good aesthetics. Can't wait to come back and try the food.

We come here every single time we are in town. Great food. Their wings are awesome. The linguica sandwich is amazing. Always lots of good beers on tap. Service is always good too. Highly recommend to locals and out of towners alike.

The drinks are pricey! The band was not the best.not the place to watch Thursday night football but the fire out on the patio was nice
