The Six Chow House reviews
17Our food was mediocre, at best. Have been here before, and remember the food in the past was much better. We got a chicken flatbread, and there were maybe 6 pieces of chicken max on it. The VAST majority of the dish was the crust. Won't be rushing back, probably ever.
It’s not a full bar. I couldn’t order a Negroni, but got a margarita instead. The margarita was not good.
Ordered a peach royale pizza and the prosciutto was thin and burnt. Not a great experience but the parking situation was easy so there’s that.
This place I've always wanted to try. It's in weird kind of dates place with like banquet chairs. We can the appetizers & drinks. The Watermelon margaritas were great! The chicken pate had potential but it stank. The octopus was too charred. The bread was excellent. I don't know I wish the food was better. Service was great & our Service was the best. Theres no real Tequilas here! U are in the valley! Where's 818 Tequila?
Yikes i wanted to enjoy this sooooo badly my this was extremely underwhelming i ordered the biscuits and gravy the biscuit was sooooooo dry and hard
It was a hot day so we requested the the fans and mist
They do not i repeat do not clean the flowers above you so dirty mist water dripped all over us and staining our clothes
Long story short not coming back
If you want to sit on the patio, make a reservation! But the sevice, bottomless mimosas, and flatbread pizza are to die for. Highly recommend.
Very yummy food, everything out of the kitchen looks delicious.particularly love the Grilled Salmon Salad.
Disappointed in the services. Brought a large party for celebration; we were the first one's there already, placed order. Everyone at my table besides myself received their meals. They forgot my order which took them 45 minutes and another 25 minutes because they gave away my burger to another table who finished before my party and left. Everyone at my party finished their meal before I got my plate. Pretty disappointed from this establishment.
Food was great! Parmessan fries were excellent, and the mac and cheese bites were delish. Service great! Very attentive. Cute place. Look forward to coming back soon
Colin was amazing! Very attentive and always checked in with us at the right time.
As for food the brussel sprouts and buffalo cauliflower are bomb!
The food is spectacular. Collin our server deserves a raise or some kind of promotion. Also the person who helped us with fries deserves a shoutout. They are a huge asset and thanks to your amazing service we are becoming regulars.
Decent ambiance. The patio was cute. We ordered brussel sprouts to start which were good. My friend ordered a soup which says it's for sharing but there was not enough to share. I ordered the turkey burger and fries. The fries were hard and cold and the turkey burger was overcooked. It burnt and cut the roof of my mouth.
Restaurant is mediocre, I thought it was super nice by the Instagram it’s not, and the food was not good at all bland with no flavor, I got chicken and waffles. Chicken seemed as if was cooked in old grease and the waffles had no good flavor! I just say this place is not worth coming, plenty of better places in LA! Plus service was horrible!
Great ambience to have a bite. Huge menu. Ordered the chicken flatbread and it unfortunately wasn’t good. Pretty bland. Enjoyed the crust though! Brussels sprouts were good, maybe a bit too oily though? Wish I would have tried different stuff on the menu, maybe I would have enjoyed it more, but not sure I’d go back.
Just ok. It felt like they were trying to capitalize on trends, both in food & atmosphere. But not executed well.
Pretty decent menu. Decor lacks charm. Excellent service and great drinks. Friendly and generous staff.
We got the vegan spaghetti and the spinach pesto pie and both were phenomenal. Colin was also an absolute beauty, would come back for his service alone. Also, the banana cream pie was bomb. (Bomb means good for you boomers)
