Tried the smoked chicken it was so dry aknots jerkey like and lacking any flavor. The Mac and cheese I enjoyed. The Texas toast was also a let down

I took my food home and opened it up, the Texas "toast" was just a piece of bread probably from Safeway, so I toasted it myself and added butter and seasoning and it was pretty good. This was maybe my second or 3rd time trying ribs, and they were definitely not that tender as I had them the first time. The tri tip that I got was super super good, and all the sauces I tried were all super good. Overall I would go again but probably get something without the "toast"

Legit tasting bbq, this will be my go to for any bbq cravings. Their pulled pork and brisket 2 meat plate was delicious. Portion size 10

Love their brisket! I took some friends here and they are used to top quality food where they live and they loved it. Glad Hollister has at least a little bit more variety. The brisket pretty much melts in your mouth

Super excited to try this place! The ribs and brisket were decent but the Tri tip was over smoked and ended up being between a texture of beef jerky and under cooked chewy meat. We personally bbq Tri Tip almost every weekend so I was disappointed for sure with their product. Also the sides were a miss. The Elote was OK but the Mac n cheese was straight up gross. It was basically cold noodles with milk. There was no cheese, no flavors, and did not qualify as Mac n cheese. The jalapeño sausage itself was a decent flavor but the casing was so tough I had to pull the meat away from the casing to eat it. Disappointed. With tip, we spent close to $80. I’d be willing to give them another try to see if maybe it was an “off day” for them, but not ideal so far.

3 Meat Dinner take out, The Brisket was very, tender, juicy and thick portions delicious. The Baby Back Ribs were also tender, thick portions and very delicious the Jalapeño &Cheddar Sausage was very good fat portions tender and full of flavor. I enjoyed the onions and pickles on the side. The Elote on the side was very good and tasty, just seemed kinda small portion, the Mac an Cheese was good. I think the Texas slice of bread could have been toasted. We got a extra side of Corn Bread that was very delicious moist and tasty. We also got a Peach Cobbler that was a Harty portion and very good. The BarBQ sauces are very delicious and could take as many as we liked free. We are definitely going back. The service was great and very pretty (Esme).

Food was average, ribs were dry but bbq chicken was better. Sides were good but too small, bread was literally just plain sliced bread with no flavor or honey/butter. I tried both of their house bbq sauces which both tasted very tart and more like a vinnegarette. The inside is very nice and cozy. Overall give it a 3.5 out of 5 for the first try. Will have to try again sometime to give them another shot, glad to see more options coming into town!

I really wanted to like this place but it just didn't hit the mark. The meat was dry (brisket and tri-tip) and the sides are so small, it is definitely not worth the money. The sides come in those little black cups you usually get extra dressings in. It was just overall very disappointing.

Had lunch here. The meat was good! The turkey breast was moist, soft and delicious! The sides were a bit of a let down but try this place out! I'll be coming for a BBQ craving.

4. The cornbread but I add honey to it when I get home.

Was excited to see a new BBQ spot in town and it did not disappoint! Ribs and tri tip were on point. The smoked turkey was tasty with the Carolina mustard. Beans, coleslaw and Mac n cheese were good sides but the servings were kind of small especially the beans. The bread they throw in would be nice if it was toasted or something. Definitely will be coming back. Delish

Brisket was good.but they forgot a side and also should have done corn bread instead of a piece of bread. Brisket I'll give it a 8.5/10.overall meal a 7/10. But since I order 3 meals and they weren't consistent i cant give it a 4 or a 5: 1 came with alot of meat and 1 came with hardly any.thats why I'm giving it a 3.5 and not a 4.
