The Tanning Spot Cryotherapy + Spa, Hermosa Beach CA

I've been going to the Tanning Spot for several years and love it. Whether I want to get a quick spray tan, use the cryo machine or get my sweat on in the sauna, it's a one-stop shop. Sergio is the best. Sometimes I go, and I'm feeling lazy, and he encourages me to do it all, cryo, spray and do the red-light machine for a couple of minutes. I'm always grateful when he does encourage me because I leave feeling so relaxed and knowing I'll be tan in a few hours!

This is a pretty cool spot with a lot of different treatment options; everything is clean and friendly, and there's really a lot to know about the various machines. I'm new to saunas, tanning, and cryotherapy, but Ali and Sydney were happy to give me a tour of the machines; they taught me quite a bit and helped me pick a machine that was right for me. Definitely worth checking out.

Amazing facility! I am a professional athlete, and have found great benefits in using cryo, red light, and infrared sauna. The staff is friendly and helpful. I always enjoy coming here.

The place is clean. All staff were nice. Great customer service especially Sergio. Highly recommended and appreciated. Had acl partial tear on knee. Red light, poly, cryotherapy and infrared sauna were my comfort for pain. Excellent products and service.

My favorite SPA. This place offers not just tanning opportunities but many many more services as 3 Infrared Saunas, face/body infrared treatments, presstherapy, CRYO, teeth whitening besides the tanning booths, beds and sprays. The staff, Sergio, Ali, young ladies are awesome, always smiling and doing their best to accomodate you. Sergio, who is the financial magician will find you the best package in the South Bay. The place is a little gem. Highly recommended!

I came here to recover from an injury. Sergio was very helpful. He explained the functionality of every machine within the spa. He answered all of my questions with a smile and pointed me in the right direction. Thanks to his recommendations I was able to recover in no time. This facility along with its friendly staff is a little slice of heaven. You won't be disappointed, opt for multiple sessions in order to see results. I recommend their Cryo+Red light therapy:)

I love this place everyone is great but if I'm being honest I wouldn't come as much as I do if the manager Sergio didn't work here he makes my experience so much better then I could have imagined and he's very educated on all of the services! Come in and ask for Sergio!

Great spot to try out and if you have a budget for a membership you’ll enjoy it.

But…. Beware of charges!
I paid cash, for l what I thought was a “special” because I didn’t want a membership (I was moving!). They save your card from purchasing products! I learned this after I moved… because they charged me $5 a month! I paid cash for the special but used my card for products.

Make sure to CANCEL your account because they will use verbiage like “freezing your account” which is completely different than canceling your account. None of this was explained to me in person, even after all the small talk, I mentioned I was moving and didn’t plan on coming back!

When I called to “cancel” the attendant didn’t apologize, he just said “it’s in your contract, I’ll go ahead and change it because your account was frozen not cancelled”

The attendants name is Sergio. He is old-school-sales pushy I ended up having buyers remorse since day one and only came in so I didn’t feel like I just blew my money away…

Despite the amount of time, money and calling I did, he never remembered my name…

I'm glad my son recommended this place. The sauna at the gym is always packed and smells funny. The Tanning Spot is clean, private, and relaxing. Sergio made me feel comfortable, he is very kind, and has great energy. He also speaks Spanish. If I want to pamper myself this is definitely the place to visit. I feel reinvigorated after every visit. I highly recommend a membership package!

Terrible experience. This was my first time here. Went in for a tan and infrared sauna. The manager male in charge was especially short and rude with me. First he assigned me to an infrared room towards the back that was in a peaceful environment …. When I was ready to go in room, he suddenly changed his mind and put me in the infrared room close to the entrance that was brightly uncomfortably lit and where room was not even at the correct heat temperature: it took 15 min for room to heat up.

The first room he showed me was what I wanted, dimly lit and room was at the right heat temperature. Maybe he tricked me into thinking that would be the room I would be staying in so that I agreed to pay. It was a nightmare. Such Poor service.

Best prices in town. Go in for cryo and red light therapy which has helped my skin rejuvenate, hairline regrowth, and overall general health improvement both mental and physical. Awesome staff!

This is the best day spa EVER. The managers and staff are all so kind and will get you in for a treatment no matter how busy they are! You name it from CRYO to infra red saunas to red-light to tanning to PRESSO therapy and have you tried the body wrap!? They have it all in one place! By appointment or drop in -they always are cleaning and safely had personal treatments clean and always cared for and sanitized throughout 2021/2022 a time when health was TOP PRORITY and continues to be. The place is full of good energy and healing modalities keeping me happy, healthy and well! This is my favorite place to unwind after a long day for some great TLC and self care.
