Lacking and unfortunate

The Tap Room - Currently in the Tap Room and the bar staff couldn't be more unmotivated. After I sat for some time, the woman behind the bar finally informed me that I had to come up and order there.
After provided the drink, she was on her phone and completely obvious that folks would maybe want a refill. Didn't get their names, but for the two women behind the bar, clearly customer service isn't a priority tonight. I've stayed here numerous times and this is the first time that the staff has been so pathetic. Unfortunate!

Excellent atmosphere!
Drinks mixed well.
Could use a little bit better quality alcohol considering how beautiful the place was and the cost of the drinks.

Great Experience and Ambiance.
Wait staff and valet were fantastic.
Good choice of liquor brands however
Cocktails on the drink menu could use a little work. The drinks on the menu were made with cheap alcohol. They were good but a bump up in quality would put this place over the top.

The appetizers were good.
Cheesecake was amazing.

We had a great time. And the hotel was beautiful.

Last night in this bar, I had a terrific time with my buddies. Everything there was incredibly enjoyable, and the drinks are well worth the cost. I would want to thank their team for offering prompt service throughout the board. We enjoy coming here every time! Thank you, men!

One of our favorite places to visit in Pasadena. Good cocktails in a historical place. Love the piano entertainment on Fridays.

We stayed at the hotel for a week. Passing by the Tap room everyday, we finally got a chance to pay a visit one Friday night. Without a doubt, it is a beautiful place. Unfortunately, that is the only thing we were happy about.

1. The service was abysmal. We asked for a table and were told it was open seating and someone would come to us. There were only several uncleaned tables so we took one. But for half an hour, no one came. We cleaned it ourselves thinking the waiters must be too busy. But then found they were all chatting and laughing in the kitchen (?) when I went to the bar to order drinks.

2. Their overpriced cocktails ($20+) were made from mixers. So of course they tasted terrible.

3. What's worse is that they double charged me for the drinks, when I opened the tab they charged me for the first round and when I closed the tab they charged me again for all rounds. For all the years I've had my credit card, this is the first time I'm disputing a charge. So, thank you for the experience!

So, my final suggestion is, come here for the beautiful view but avoid the Tap room at all costs.

Not too bad. Decent burgers and fries. The pour your own beer by the ounce is the standout here. Lots of opportunities to try local brews!

The Tap Room is located within the Langham Hotel which is stunning. We attended on a Saturday evening when there was live music (bass and piano) playing. We sat outside on the terrace and although it was a cold night, it was heated, so it was comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the Monterey Park Hill lights. Interestingly, we could not hear the live music from outside, so had to ocassionally go inside to hear the music. We ordered some drinks and the chocolate cake to share with a side of vanilla ice cream. The chocolate was rich, but the ice cream balanced out the flavor. The service was good overall, but the desert took a while to come out.

Very classy, upscale located deep in center of Pasadena neighborhood. Staff very friendly, live music which consisted of a piano player.

Love this place! Its absolutly beautiful and unique! A wine lovers dream. Tired of making trips to Wine Country to discover good wines? Every now and again, its worth the drive for the senery, but those who don't have wheels, or don't want to spend $$ on gas, Press Club is for you! More to come when it becomes open to the public (should be soon). I was fortunate to attend a private event there and got a super sneak peek of what's to come. Im welcoming The Tap Room with open arms.

Looked cozy. Since I'm not a drinker I cannot provide a service review. The place was very busy.

Looks great… but never open, terrible operation… definitely call before you bother to go, likely not open. Going to the pool bar in the rain was a terrible option they recommend.

Great shows, and great crew working the bar and pit. Bowling gets busy but is surprisingly not a bad wait for how few lanes they have at the bar.

Desserts were great, drinks were great, service too. What I loved most was the ambiance and atmosphere. It was mellow, music wasn’t super overpowering, and the lighting with the decor was just perfect. We sat outside on the patio and there were heaters on top so we were kept nice and warm. Loved it, great spot for just catching up and chilling with friends.

One of the best bars in the LA county. I love the ambiance and the classic style. Great selection of drinks. Must visit
