The Touchstone Hotel reviews
16The staff was wonderful! Juliette in particular was such a delight. Though the room’s are little, they were clean & comfortable - all we needed really! The central location was really ideal. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
Small bad, Shower and pipes make noises day and night, elevator do not work, staff only for charge more that what advertised in the we'd, rooms small and the bed smells, the only window that opens for air scrim is busted
The rooms are very small (the smallest I've ever seen in a hotel), and there is no parking. They will "refer" you out to a garage a block away that they say it is in connection with the hotel, but all they hand you is a business card.
The small rooms were nice despite their size, but the bed was so hard that I barely slept either night we were there.
Also, with it being downtown, it was quite noisy.
Between the extra fees, parking, and the security deposit, we paid for the equivalent of 5 nights on a 2 night stay.
It was clean and pretty well maintained though, so for San Francisco, while it was still expensive, it was relatively affordable.
Great hotel for budget travelers. Good location and reasonable rates. Only problem was not having a fridge in the room.
Defiantly a budget hotel and the rooms are on the small side.bed was comfortable and the bathroom works. TV is tiny like the elevator, Very strong smell if you use the stairs. Parking situation is a block away but is simple and was not a problem. Staff were awesome and room was always clean with fresh towels. If you plan on going to the theater this is the spot.
The room itself was not fancy and was very basic. The location was great and very close to everything we wanted to visit. The customer service was amazing. Every person working at the desk was so kind and friendly and did everything they could to make our experience amazing!
Hotel in the center of SF, beware of the homeless in downtown who are more and more numerous.
The room was not very big but clean. The heating/air conditioning is a portable ventilation.
However, we had a room facing the street, and it was very noisy.
Solid hotel in a convenient location with incredibly friendly staff. Juliet at the front desk made my stay very pleasant. I'd definitely return if I was in town again for a solo trip.
Great customer service and the hotel is very clean. Elevator is a bit small but it's rapid. House keeping is good. There's a restaurant attach to the hotel.
Great service and wonderful price. Extremely clean it's cleaned on a daily basis. Guest service is amazing and so is room service.
Great service. My issue was address, right away. You're greeted as soon as you walk in. The environment is very welcoming. There are bums down a few blocks but none near the hotel. They're stores and a Walgreens across the street. The best store is down Taylor on the corner. The hotel has a restaurant attached that serves breakfast. The hotel is clean daily and always has a cozy feeling. There are restaurants up-and-down.
I give the hotel a 10000/10, it is served by very good people, very friendly, everyone collaborates a lot with what people need! I recommend it 100% and it is in the best location in the city and at a very good price.
It has reasonable price and very good location. The hotel and rooms are very clean. It is safe and employees are very friendly. Definetly best option in San Fransisco.
Cheap and clean hotel, but the room is small and the elevator is narrow. Overall it is highly recommended
Really enjoyed our stay at the Touchstone! The staff were so wonderful, helpful and really kind. Although the rooms are a bit on the small side, not really an issue as they were always clean and the price could not be beat! Front, hallway and hotel room doors are all keycard activated to ensure the utmost safety. We did not experience any excess street noise as other reviews stated which was lovely! Location is central and is in walking distance to multiple bus stops, BART stations and sightseeing experiences. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again in a heartbeat!
