This is the correct upholstery place. You were called as you requested in this review, said you would be here to pick up the chair "in a few days" to correct what you did wrong, which was 3 weeks ago yet you never showed up. Why would you offer to fix the chair if you were not the correct place?
Below, the report is accurate. Maybe he was having a bad day. Whatever the case may be, he now wants this review to be removed and threatened to report the review. Go ahead. For people who want their furniture reupholstered, this guy may be great for automobiles but from this experience of a small entryway chair, it was not so great. So the review stands. And you no longer have to fulfill your promise to make it good! Dealing with such a person is not something that is pleasant.

Paid FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS to reupholster a SMALL chair (cane sides but not covered.too pretty to cover those! One small section where ones back rests, seat.and nothing else). Did not do as instructed, and it looks awful. Seat is not thick enough although he was told the thickness wanted. Edges unfinished properly with cording to match the material was not done. A total waste of so much money for such a SMALL chair. Material that was chosen is the only really thing nice about it and he does have a great selection.
This review is an honest one. Period.
They are doing a chair for me, and I believe it will be done well and how I want it. Due to a disappointing result, I won't be recommending any friends to go here.
I had Dan do some work on our old Hewescraft bass boat. Needed the seats redone. When we picked up our boat I couldn't believe the job he did! Absolutely fantastic. Our old boat got an awesome facelift with the newly upholstered seats.
His pricing is very competitive if not the best in town. Dealers want way too much. Plus you don't get that personal touch when dealing with dealers. Highly support your local business and get that personal care with it.
We will definitely be going back to Dan and his crew when we are in need again.
