The UPS Store reviews
28Change your hours! It’s so ridiculous to have to lug packages for blocks only to be told you’re closed. It can’t possibly be hard - please do the simple curtesy of changing to the accurate hours. For anyone wondering, they supposedly close at 6: 30pm. Btw this review does not reflect the employees who are fairly helpful.
I went to the store @9: 30am Saturday trying to return my package.
The store only allowed 2 people entered at a time and told me to wait outside on the street.
There is many of homeless passed by on that street at that time plus no parking space, so I had to stop on the red zone with emergency light on.
The employee made me wait on the street for a15 minutes, I was anxious and mad to wait and I left there and went to another store
and it was done in 5 second.
I'm not going to that store anymore. That store can cause on accident.
I have a business mailbox here and they still charge me for printing out a single shipping label from the printer/copier. I’ve had 2 other mailboxes at other ups locations in the past and this one is by far the worst. Never have they charged me at any postal office for this. Half of the workers are rude and they have terrible customer service. I will not be renewing my mailbox.
The parking at this location is non-existent. Otherwise, a 5-star rating would have awarded.
I found the staff to be very friendly, and eager to help.
If you find yourself in the Fashion District and need to ship goods domestically or globally, this is the BEST.
This store told me they couldn't return my package. After I returned to the store with a representative on the phone, they where able to find the information that I had already provided. A heavy set woman manager, (I think her name was violet) came over and was extremely rude to me and the woman on the phone.this store is a joke and the manager needs to be fired. If you want your stuff sent correctly don't go to this store! 8/27/2020 4: 30 pm
I encountered two of the rudest UPS workers along with a Manager named Violet who subsequently hung up on me
after I called to lodge a formal complaint regarding two of her subordinates.
I walked in to return an Amazon package at the 9th Street UPS Store with the return label on my cell phone. I have visited this store on various occasions and
have been treated well by the male staff.
However, today's experience was horrible. The female attendants with their "gangster like personas" told me they could not scan my return label and that I would
have to pay for the return label. I explained to the attendants that I had previously returned packages at this location
and the male attendants were extremely gracious and printed the labels without issue and packaged the item for return at no cost.
One of the attendants named Julie raised her voice and reiterated that if I could not pay, they would not return my package to Amazon even if
I had the label screenshot on my cell phone.
I called back as soon as I got home to complain and spoke to the manager Violet, who was verbally belligerent and hung up on me.
This is horrible customer service. I will never utilize this location's services again. I'll go the extra 5 blocks to the other UPS store on Figueroa from
now on.
If you like rude abusive treatment in a gangster like environment, you'll love this location.
Avoid this Place like The Corona Virus!
Disgusted,

Bad service. The closing hours are not updated. Online it saids 8 PM but they close before 6 PM or whenever they feel like it. I came over before to pick up a package after work and they had employees inside doing nothing, sitting on the counter ignoring customers. They will ignore you if you knock and will continue to sit down looking at their phone.
They are supposed to be open until 6pm. I arrived at 4pm and they had already locked the entrance. I waved at the one employee inside and he signaled me to leave. Nice.
I had a great experience yesterday with Lourdes. She was friendly and very professional. I didn't experience any trouble. I was in and out in seconds.literally. I am grateful for her. Thank you for serving my needs. Dropping off your Amazon package is super easy here. I would highly recommend this location.
Great service, staff is really helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve been using printing service, and it was a great quality of a printer as well as the (Danny C.) person who was helping us. It was a lot of the costumers inside but line was moving really quickly.
Their website offers a service that we needed to only find out that after having a package shipped to them in short notice that the service listed on the website is no longer offered and they will not make an exception due to their misrepresentation. Very horrible business practices.
I had a bad experience with the notary. The customer service and knowledge was not there. She refused to notarize my document and I therefore went to the 12th Street store and was treated well and had no problems.
She was incorrect in her knowledge as a notary and was very rude.
It's difficult to park there and after all that you are not even treated professionally.
Ups is ruining kinkos good name, that place was the best, now we have these stupid stores where rude guys work, and it looks horrible inside, what happened to my kinkos? !? !? !? Beautiful big stores that could do all kinds of stuff for you, I feel like we have gone back in time.
They literally take any opportunity to be closed on the weekend. Today they were closed because of the super bowl, seriously? I only come here to drop off return packages and every other time I try they are closed.
Went there for a notary service. I was told the person already went home today at 2pm. What kind of business is this?
I like this UPS store. I rented a mailbox here so that I can receive packages close to work. It's more expensive than other UPS stores where I've rented in the past, but I think it's worth it. When I've gone there, the people have always been very polite and efficient.
Paid 22 dollars (not sure if that's the norm, but that sounds expensive) for only binding a 170 page document and it was done so sloppily that many of the pages came off the first time I opened it.
Bunch of whiny babies in here, reviewing. They should re-read their Magnum opuses and remember they're talking about packages. Probably the same people that flip out when their phone's browser takes a few seconds longer to load. You're boring awful people.
Brought my package. They processed my package. Boom! The system works.
Eric, who it seems like he is here all the time, is always fast and efficient, exactly what you would want from an employee at a UPS store. I have never had an issue in the years that I've frequented this location. More regular customers should take the time to reflect what really goes on this store. Fast, efficient, friendly service.
I was helped pretty quick. There was only one other person there but a guy came from the back and get started right away with my live scan.
