The UPS Store, Carlsbad CA

The clerk at this store on Melrose was awesome! I faxed documents to the wrong phone number and spent $37. The clerk gave me credit to refax my papers! She was a life saver.

They miss addressed the box which cost $45.00 to ship. They shipped the box back to myself. Rather than send the package on properly, they told my husband it was his fault and refused to help in anyway. Took my $45.00 and said said too bad for you.

The UPS store #0001 near Von’s shopping center in LaCosta, off Aviara and El Camino is the WORST ever! Horrible and incredibly RUDE customer service. The person I am referring to is a young man not very tall thin black hair glasses maybe the owner’s son, nephew or relative but oh my gosh what a despicable attitude he has!

This location closes at 6: 00 PM. Why display these hours if you are going to lock your doors at 5: 55 PM?

This is a fabulous store. They are helpful, courteous, and the go out of their way to make sure my business needs are cared for.

Our company is a manufacturer and occasionally we need rush printing, and these guys come through for us every time. They have new state of the art printers and also large format plotters that product beautiful high-resolution images.

We also have used their notary services and were very satisfied with the skill level they exhibit.

They are friendly and competent and the owners work along side their employees. A real family-run business feel which is nice in these days of huge online presences.

You will get the feeling that your business is appreciated when you shop here. Not to mention their prices are fair. A+

I rarely write reviews but after the owner left me in tears I felt compelled. The owner is the most unkind and unprofessional person I’ve encountered in recent memory. She literally yelled me out of the store and told me to take her to court after refusing to refund me for a mistake she made on an order of mine that made it unusable. There is not an ounce of customer service in this store. Please please take your business elsewhere.

I always use this UPS Store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Service is prompt during the week days. It gets busy on Saturdays.

Do not - DO NOT - use this location. Go down the street to Poinsettia or anywhere else. There’s never a line here bc people have smartened up. Unfortunately made the mistake thinking UPS stores were created equal. Heck no! They do not care about integrity, quality, or the long game. I tried to return a rug from here, unfort i didn’t realize nor was I asked if I should get insurance on this return, I thought the tracking number would do the trick. It didn’t. And now ive been given the run around by Kiran.huge loss but big lesson

Very disappointed in my experience at this UPS. I had a QR code from Amazon with my packages then they told me they could only allow one QR code per item so after cancelling each item individually then trying again they told me they could actually have done the return. At that point they were closing so I couldn’t even compete my return. Complete waste of time.

Every time I have been in this store when the owner is there, she is incredibly rude to the employees when they are clearly working as quickly as possible and are doing a good job. I won’t be giving my business to someone that treats their employees in such a disrespectful manner.

I have used this UPS location several times and the only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they seem to be short staffed at times. To be clear, the staff is friendly but if you show up when it is busy, expect to wait a bit to be helped.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I was compelled to do so after dealing with an obnoxious employee named Kiran. The employees at this location were disengaged and rude in general, but Kiran was on another level and very condescending towards me. She was upset that I asked my packet to be weighed (I wanted to make sure I put the correct postage) and she became more upset and belligerent when I decided to use my own stamps that I already had with me instead of buying postage from the store. It was truly bizarre, I understand that she needs to make money but this was very unprofessional behavior. I’ve never had an experience like this at other UPS locations, they’ve always been very friendly and helpful. This store needs a serious change of ownership/management, I can see that I’m not the only one who’s had issues with this lady. I’ll avoid this location from now on, the store on south Melrose in Vista is the best. Worth the drive if you like dealing with civilized and decent people!

This is a busy store. What I like best about my visits there isn’t that there’s never a line because there can be. I appreciate, though, how quickly the line moves and customers get their needs taken care of. It’s because (my opinion) they are well staffed - each station was manned - and each employee knew the job. Never saw multiple employees huddled over one transaction. I can’t and don’t ever expect more than that.

Appalling standard of customer service. Attendants name was Kiran. She was rude, dismissive and took forever to process a simple transaction. I’m not accustomed to a store clerk raising their voice towards a customer. Honestly didn’t have a bad opinion about UPS before but after this 45 minute ordeal, it’s a scathing one.

Always a positive experience when needing to visit the store. Everyone is friendly and helpful!

If you get your passport photo taken here, be aware that they don't follow the state department guidelines for taking photos so your photo may be rejected when you get to your passport appointment. This happened to me.

When I took the photo back and asked for a refund, the owners daughter wanted to argue with me about it, saying that she was smiling in her passport. I had just gotten back from my appointment to get my passport renewed and had their photo rejected by the post office employee so it was particularly grating to get a snotty attitude from her. When I asked to speak with the owner so I could suggest they train their employees better, she informed me that the owner wasn't there but SHE was the owner's daughter, as if that meant anything.
