The UPS Store reviews
16 IF YOU HAVE TO GO HERE BRING YOUR OWN LABEL!
They don’t print label for free!
They charge me for 3 dollars for printing a piece of black and white paper from an existing returning label. The service lady just smiled at me and said “oh we are a franchise store. ” Whatever franchise it is, it sucks for my personal experience.
First time using the UPS store on Alton Parkway in Irvine CA, and it will be the last. I am a frequent user of UPS service, and this location had the worst customer experience I have ever encountered. Employees not knowledgeable, unable to use the computer to generate simple shipping labels or to quote rate for different levels of shipping. Eventually was able to create shipping label but not a receipt with tracking number. When I stated I wanted the tracking numbers, I was told to just take a photo of the shipping label. I am keeping m fingers crossed that the 2 boxes I dropped off will reach their destination. This is a new location, and I doubt it will stay long if this is the level of service customer's can expect.
I was hesitant at first due to the bad reviews but they were very friendly and professional!
I've had pleasant experiences in this store. When I had covid, they worked with me to have someone bring my packages out to my car for me- i called ahead, and they worked it out for me. What I notice here in this location is that every visit, the customers are the ones not being so very nice. They are demanding, like they are owed something. I have come once a week since getting my mailbox and never fails someone is at the counter getting mad. You guys it goes both ways, these are human beings you are talking to, treat them as such and you might be happier with the result.
I had two packages to return to Amazon. I gave the QR code for each, they placed the labels, and done! I don’t even think I was there for a whole minute. Great service and with a smile.)
The rating section is real. UPS, you should definitely send someone to do inspections here, your company is not supposed to give such worst service to the customers. IDK if the staff member here have been training before they actually practice service. Just noticed here, I drop off my Amazon return package today in this store, just kind of afraid if they are going to send this package back to Amazon without any damages. I saw the employee just throw my package to the pick up area…….
Very very poor customer service. Very much rather use the other UPS locations in Irvine. There’s a reason why they’re the lowest rated store in the area
No star given. There is no customer service. Asked me to use the rubbish bin outside their store so that they can be lazy, while there’s a bin right next to me. Revoke their license UPS.
Worst store over. A zero rating is good enough. They charge for the tape, charge for the print out of the shipping label as well. The Asian man who works here is rude and sucks. They are interested in minting money only.
I advise public to avoid this UPS store. I advise public to understand why a 2.1 rating is given to this store.
The worst delivery service ever in the world.
I've been expecting my delivery for 15 days, and I paid for priority shipment, and they have postponed every 2 days my delivery. To track the delivery, the website doesn't show enough information, they need urgent process performance and quality service
I've been here before, and those visits weren't too bad. However, recently I was really disappointed and hurt by the workers there. I went to return a package, and arrived around 6pm (they close at 6: 30). Apparently I had pasted the wrong label, so I moved over to the side and checked my email to see if I could find the right one. One of the workers says to the other "When is this guy gonna take a hint that we're closing soon. " He said this right in front of me, and the other worker says "I know right" while rolling her eyes. There was still 30 minutes left! I get that it's close to closing time, and after a long day of work going home is all you can think about, but this was just straight up rude.
Paul handled a line of people like a boss. I don't know how he stays so calm and continues to work at a fast pace with such efficiency. I hope and pray that he is being paid what he is worth. Thank you for the wonderful service with a smile even under a great amount of pressure from working alone with a long line. You Rocked It Paul.
Today, I filed a complaint with corporate against the employee Michael. As I was waiting in line, Michael was "assisting" a woman who struggled with English. I witnessed him mock her and be extremely unprofessional towards her. He lacked any type of motivation to discover what she was asking for. He dismissed her openly and rudely interrupted his fellow employee (who was busy with a customer). This employee needs to be reprimanded and re-trained. He is severely underqualified to be dealing with the public. Then not only did I witness him being an awful human being to this elderly woman. He also denied me being able to ship out a box containing Electronics and Wine. I told him how that is possible when I spent over $100 in shipping to send a BOX full of wine across the U. S.with the help of a different employee in December of 2020 and now he is telling me different? I have no issues with this location just simply this particular employee. I will take my business elsewhere if UPS does not care enough about the type of employee behavior being displayed. How a company and it's employees treat their customers should matter to anyone and I hope that this review helps those that want to make sure that where they are spending their money is going to companies that treat their customers with a basic level of respect and kindness.
The women who works here is rude, full of attitude and no smile whatsoever! And that's why 1 star here.
I have never posted a negative review on any site, but this place left me with no choice. Young lady working the desk was super rude and clearly didn't want to be there. Not helpful at all. I asked if they could print a label off, she dismissed me over to a computer in the corner of the store, and then they proceeded to charge me $1.50 for one black and white print. Just for the record, the FedEx store near me in RSM will print their labels for free. And, if I do need to print something out, they only charge $0.17 per sheet. I asked to borrow some tape, she totally blew me off. I noticed she was rude and dismissive to the customers in line before me. I will never give my business to UPS ever again, and especially not to this location for any other service. I realize this location might be independently owned and operated, but this totally reflects back on UPS.
At 4: 30 on Saturday October 24 th, I entered to drop of pre-labeled packages. Clerk (dark hair, female) could not of been ruder. At this time of Covid, I feel we all need to be kind. I appreciate all who help us go on to take care of life, BUT she was awful.
