The UPS Store reviews
18 Missing an expensive package from abroad.
Called the 800 number. Given a case number, and told that they have it two blocks from me, where it has being sitting for a week, because I did not accept delivery.
I am always at home at this time in my life. There was no such attempt.
I pay somebody to go with me and get it on Franklin. Of course, it is not there. The nice man working there tells me that it might be on San Bruno Avenue. He tells me that their system does not have case numbers, but they do have package tracing, and he concludes that it is again on San Bruno Avenue. They cannot arrange for it to be brought to me.
This was on Sunday, April 2. The nice man working there insists they have no manager who I can call at the Franklin location and ask about this terrible, terrible service.
He says again, like the operator on the 800 number the previous evening, that I was not there to receive it, and that, in fact, I rejected it.
When I get home, the automated system will not put me through to an agent at any location to follow up. I am so mad I could spit. The automated system demands that I start a case, and waste more of my time because of their incompetence and dishonesty.
For what you charge, you especially suck at your customer service.
DO NOT BOOK TSA PRE-CHECK APPOINTMENTS HERE.
Showed up early to my appointment only to have it cancelled due to the Pre-Check employee being out sick. I received no notice, email, or phone call about this “cancellation. ” Completely unprofessional. An hour+ of my work day wasted for nothing.
Great and Friendly UPS Store! Locally owned, Takes great care of customers and spends time to go through things and steps especially procedures such as TSA Enrollment! Jerry is super helpful, friendly, professional!
This store and it’s staff is so much better than the other UPS Stores in the area. Everyone is always polite and swift. Thanks!
Had to drop off an Amazon return. Great drop-off location, nice staff. What more do you need?
The tsa website says this center is available for walk-in appointments but I showed up for a walk-in and the store manager said he wasn’t accepting walk-in appointments
Maybe just me been lucky, we went in twice and serviced by the same guy. He is very professional and nice.
5$ to print a label. Recommend going to the nearby Fedex store where they will print your UPS label for free.
Absolutely terrible customer service! Spoke far too quickly, did not even want to assist with the live scan I needed and hung up on me abruptly. Worst customer service ever.
I’ve been using this store for shipping and receiving all of my mail and packages. Never had a negative experience! Jerry’s always friendly and helpful no matter how busy he is. Absolutely the best UPS store in this area!
I am the designated Amazon returner and errand runner (shipping stuff to Asia) for extended elderly family members out in the City; and this store is by leaps and bounds one of the best I've had to deal with. The store manager, an efficient and friendly dude named Jerry always handles my packages out with care and answers my questions with patience. The store is always clean and orderly, and parking is always plentiful on Franklin for what is usually a quick in-and-out trip. I also support an Aunt's side hustle of custom jewelry on Etsy, and to ensure orders in and out and ensure confidentiality, we are planning on getting a PO box at this location- highly recommended.
The most wonderful UPS store in San Francisco. The staff, Jerry, goes out of his way to help customers. Jerry is patient, well informed, and helps me with all the Amazon returns that I have. I have health issues, and Jerry is always compassionate and helps. I recommend this store highly.
I live a couple blocks away and this is the store I go to on a regular basis. Jerry is always the main person I have dealt with and he is great. Friendly staff and parking spots mostly avaliable in the front.
They wanted $4.48 to print my pre-paid UPS lable.left and went to the Post Street location where they printed it for free. That's a terrible policy to treat a UPS lable like regular printing, you shouldn't call yourself UPS Store
I needed to return a package to a major retailer. On the store’s website, it said that if I didn’t have a printer, I could just take it to any UPS Store & they would print the label there. I went there with my info only to be told there was a $3.99 “printer setup” fee in addition to the cost of printing the label. That’s probably more than UPS will make from the cost of shipping the return itself. Beware!
I use the store for all my incoming pkgs. It's safer to have them dropped off here then left in the lobby of my bldg on
Bush St. I don't mind paying the annual fee. The staff are all nice & very helpful.
Perhaps the best UPS branch ever. Kelly is a great manager here. She's friendly, super understanding and accommodating. I couldn't ask for more. Kelly, if you see this, thank you very much and keep doing what you do! If you need to move on to do better things, I understand. Wishing you all the best.
My wife has a mailbox cuz of its cheap price, so I joined her. At first I tho I need to pay the same price as my wife did, but luckily they just me $5 as a second person to my wife's box. Pretty good deal to me as so far my packages get to my hand safely now. Back then I need to call Amazon a lot to file the missing packages' claims cuz the packages were missing at the door. So ignoring. Now I do not need to and save a lot of time too.
